Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering is a four-year full-time course offered by Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject and He/She has obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. [I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling

Admission Details

Admissions to all B.Tech programs are made through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conducted by JCECE Board constituted by Govt of Jharkhand. Lateral entry to diploma holders in engineering and technology is made in the 3rd semester through competitive examination conducted separately for them. The number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.

College Infrastructure

It has a huge green campus , you will get tired just taking a round of the campus. It is a old college therefore it has so many old building but there are many new construction too . It has market just outside the boundary.

Infrastructure is a bit lagging aspect of this college, like old buildings, unavailability of sports complex which is now being constructed. Lack of college wifi in the hostels. But new hostel are quite good

College Infrastructure

The college have all the modern facilities including modernised classrooms laboratories a central library and siemens lab in it building. It has all the development required in their field. The living spaces are cleaned regularly.
