Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering is a four-year full-time course offered by Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject and He/She has obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. [I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling

Admission Details

Admissions to all B.Tech programs are made through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conducted by JCECE Board constituted by Govt of Jharkhand. Lateral entry to diploma holders in engineering and technology is made in the 3rd semester through competitive examination conducted separately for them. The number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is average. Every thing is there but aged. There are smart boards and electronics stuff but not maintained. Classroom desks and rooms are not clean well but labs are good and clean.

Bit sindri, has old necessary facilities for phd students like libraries, libraries, computer, unable campus, and many more such facilities the university offers the campus of 400 acres of land area .

This college is 2nd best college in Jharkhand for the Mining after IIT DHANBAD.. but the campus of college is not new but mostly all the facilities like Wi-Fi, Hostels, laboratories are provided here.....
