BMS College of Architecture, Bengaluru offers a B.Arch programme at the undergraduate level and the admission is made on the basis of rank secured secured by the candidates in the IIT- JEE 2 or NATA entrance test .For admission in the B.Arch programme through COMED-K , the candidates should have a valid National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) score which is conducted by the Council of Architecture.

BMS College of Architecture, Bengaluru offers a M.Arch programme at the PG level and to take admission in this programme, the candidates should have a valid score in GATE or KPGCET. If any seat still remains vacant, BMS College of Architecture, Bengaluru can conduct an aptitude test; further if eligible the students may be admitted to the programme under the Management category as per the applicable norms stipulated in the Admission clauses of the University.

Karnataka Examinations Authority will release the ranks, based on the graduation and the entrance test scores of the candidates as well as applicable category and allot them the Institution based on the preference made by the candidates for the college.
Candidates must get their documents verified and pay the fees.

Ph.D Architecture

Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Architecture or allied specialisation recognized by the University with minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% aggregate marks at either the Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programme.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent field recognized by the University with a minimum CGPA of 7.75 or 70% aggregate marks and have published research papers in refereed Journals or filed/ obtained patents.

Candidates should have a 10 years of experience in Teaching/ Research/ Professional practice in Architecture along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent field recognized by the University.

Candidates who are pursuing M.Arch Degree and who have successfully completed the prescribed coursework in the first three semesters of study with a minimum CGPA of 7.75 or 70 % aggregate marks and demonstrated good research aptitude shall be eligible for up-gradation to the Ph.D programme.

BMSCA Bengaluru Ph.D Selection Process

Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
Candidates must approach a Research Supervisor under VTU and must register their application for the entrance test.
Candidates must appear in the VTU Entrance Exam for Ph.D.
Candidates must get their synopsis reviewed by the University Level Selection Committee.
Candidates must get their documents verified and pay the admission fees.

In BMS College of Architecture, Bengaluru in B.Arch courses do not have placements as such like other colleges. In 5th year of the college every students need to find firms for internship and join them for the experience. They help the students to find jobs. For Internships, the stipend is usually R.s 5,000-10,000. The salary depends on the firms.

Hello!
For students who are not from general category, the central government of India is providing Fee reimbursement. You can avail this opportunity by submitting proper documents. Based on your merit fee reimbursement will be decided. As you got a percentage of 80, I think you are eligible for applying to this reimbursement.
