Eligibility Criteria 

B.Arch 

Candidates must have passed 10+2 scheme (12th or II-PUC) with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or must have passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.

M.Arch Habitat Design 

Candidates must have passed the B.Arch Examination of VTU or any other recognized University with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST and Category I students). For admission under Government or Management quota, Qualification awarded by the Indian Institute of Architects and recognized by the regulations of Council of Architecture, shall be considered equivalent to B.Arch. The candidates seeking admission to M. Arch. Programs on the basis of IIA Associateship qualification shall qualify the PGCET.

Ph.D Architecture 

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Architecture/ Allied specialisation recognized by the University with minimum CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 or 60% aggregate marks at either the Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the respective discipline.

OR 

Candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent field recognized by the University with outstanding merit, having a minimum CGPA of 7.75 out of 10 or 70% aggregate marks and have published research papers in refereed Journals or filed/ obtained patents.

OR

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent recognized by the University with 10 years of experience in teaching/ Research/ Professional practice in Architecture.

OR 

Candidates pursuing M.Arch Degree who have successfully completed the prescribed coursework in the first three semesters of study with outstanding merit having minimum CGPA of 7.75 out of 10 or 70 % aggregate marks and demonstrated good research aptitude shall be eligible for up-gradation to the Ph.D.
