One of the best college for architecture

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

BMS College of Architecture has a well-designed campus that suits the needs of architecture students. The studios are spacious enough for regular project work, and the college has a useful library, computer facilities and other academic resources. The overall campus is clean and the facilities are generally maintained well.

      Academics

I chose B.Arch because I enjoy designing spaces and wanted a career that combines creativity with technical knowledge. The faculty at BMSCA is experienced and gives good guidance during design juries and projects. The course is challenging but provides strong exposure to architectural design, theory and practical work.

      Placements

The placement experience is decent for architecture, with students getting opportunities through architectural firms, internships and professional contacts. The college provides guidance and exposure, but students also need to build a strong portfolio and develop software and communication skills. Overall, the opportunities are useful for starting a career in architecture.

      Value for Money

I feel BMSCA is worth the money because of its reputation, faculty and academic exposure. Architecture involves additional expenses for materials and model-making, but the learning environment and opportunities provided make the overall cost reasonable. For someone serious about architecture, the experience is definitely valuable.

      Campus Life

Campus life is a good mix of academics, creativity and social activities. Students often work together on projects, which helps build friendships and teamwork. There are workshops, competitions and cultural events throughout the year. The Bengaluru location is another advantage, as the college is well connected and easy to reach.

      Others

I would definitely recommend BMSCA to students who are serious about pursuing architecture. The college provides a good academic environment along with opportunities to explore different areas of design. The location, student community and exposure to architectural work make the overall experience quite positive.

      Nice college n good academic

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

BMS College of Architecture has good infrastructure for students, especially the design studios and academic spaces. The classrooms, library and computer facilities are useful for regular work, while the studios provide a good environment for projects and model-making. Most facilities are maintained properly and the campus is comfortable overall.

      Academics

I am studying B.Arch because I have always been interested in buildings, design and creative work. The faculty is experienced and generally gives helpful feedback during design projects. The course is demanding but provides a good combination of theory, studio work and practical learning, which helps students develop their architectural skills.

      Placements

The placement opportunities are reasonable for an architecture college, although they are different from engineering or management placements. Students get opportunities through architectural firms and internships. The college provides guidance, but portfolio quality and individual skills play a major role in getting a good internship or job after graduation.

      Value for Money

I feel BMSCA offers good value for money because of its reputation, faculty, academic environment and opportunities for practical learning. Architecture does involve additional expenses for materials, models and software, but the overall exposure and learning experience make the investment worthwhile for someone genuinely interested in the field.

      Campus Life

Campus life is quite enjoyable, especially because architecture students work closely with each other on projects and presentations. There are cultural events, competitions and other activities to participate in. The faculty and students are generally friendly, and the Bengaluru location is convenient with good public transport and plenty of facilities nearby.

      Others

One thing I really like about BMSCA is the exposure to different design ideas and creative approaches. Students get opportunities to participate in competitions, workshops and other activities outside regular classes. The college is also easy to reach, and the overall environment is suitable for students who genuinely enjoy architecture and design.

Good choice in Bengaluru for architecture college

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

BMS College of Architecture has a good campus with studios, classrooms, a library and facilities that support architectural work. The design studios provide enough space for students to work on projects and models. Most facilities are maintained well, although the workload can sometimes make the studios feel crowded.

      Academics

I am studying B.Arch because I have always been interested in design, buildings and creative problem solving. The teaching is generally good, with faculty giving useful feedback on design projects. The course is demanding but provides a good mix of theory, drawing, design and practical work, which helps build relevant skills.

      Placements

Placements in architecture are different from regular engineering or management courses, but the college provides opportunities through firms and professional networks. Internships and practical exposure are especially useful for building a portfolio. The placement experience depends largely on the student's skills, design work and the quality of their portfolio.

      Value for Money

I feel BMSCA provides reasonable value for money because students get a recognised name, experienced faculty, studio-based learning and opportunities to develop their design skills. Architecture does require additional spending on models, materials and software, but the overall academic exposure makes the course worthwhile.

      Campus Life

Campus life is quite engaging, especially because architecture students spend a lot of time working together on projects and models. There are cultural events, competitions and other activities as well. The student community is creative and friendly, while the Bengaluru location is convenient and well connected by public transport.

      Others

One thing I would add is that studying architecture here gives you good exposure to people with different creative ideas and approaches. Reaching the college is also fairly easy because of Bengaluru's public transport options. Overall, it is a good choice for students who are genuinely interested in architecture and design.

      Academics

We study architecture and more often, it turns into a lifestyle, hence, being passionate towards it is necessary. Our curriculum is more focused on on ground work, understanding, creativity and not thinking inside four walls

Architecture doesn't have the placements thing. You don't land a job that way, we have to work on our portfolios and they have to speak for themselves, so, you get recommendations but the actual finding an internship etc is our workload
