Hy there is a comparsion below

  1. Infrastructure - In infrastructure, Chandigarh University wins. No doubt it has a quite wonderful infrastructure as their are students from different countries. CGC Landren infrastructure is not that good comparable to CU.
  2. College Life- It's the most important thing for everyone because that what everyone wants a perfect college life. CU has a edge over CGC in this again as a lot of events take place in CU. There are a lot of places for roaming and eating in CU also.
  3. Placement- That's what literally su***, at the time of placement students of cgc and CU sit together. So, the company won't give you an advantage if you are a student at CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY.
  4. Fees- If you take hostel then Fees for CU is 10Lakhs while of CGC is 6.4 Lakhs but CU offers a lot of scholarship programs. E.g. if you have 90%+ in Boards then your semester fee will be reduced to 50%.
  5. Facilities - It's common better facilities cost more, so, CU offers good facilities to it's students.

ALL THE BEST

Hello student ,

Here I would like to suggest you that go through according to your interest in any particular field . Suppose if like computer language and are also interested in coding and python languages then go for computer science engineering from CGC landran and if are interedted in physics are like to do work related to electrical then go for ECE . As both are good but if you will choose any one according to your interest you can acheive something great in your future .

Hope this will help you !

Hey Lovish

I will giev you some details regarding both the options so you can decide on your own.

As far as CSE in GCG Landran is concerned- The infrastructure is great here with well trained and helpful faculty and various Multi National Corporations like Amazon visits the campus. The average salary offered is 8 lakh per annum in CSE department.

As for ECE at Punjabi University  70% of the students get placed with average package around 3 lakh. Infosys and TCS are the top recruiting companies(basically they are mass recruiters). The infrastructure is good. Most of the teachers of the department are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable however the practical training needs to be improved.

You should look deeper into both these institutes before making any decision. All the best!

Dear Dj ,

IF we go through the fees of both college then not same  like as per you had mentioned CGC college fees is 45k per semester  then its mean 1 year fees iss 90K and if we calculate 4 years then it will 3 lakhs 60thousand and Chitkara  University having 80K per semester mean 6laks 40k for 4 years btech course .

Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran was established in 2001 with approved by AICTE, PCI, NCTE ,Affiliated To PTU Jalandhar  and Accreditation by NAAC-A, NBA .They also offer placements facilities CGC has made its place by conducting 2500 placement drives for its students by offering 65,000 offers. Many renowned companies like Amazon, Wipro, Cognizant, Panasonic, IBM, Cipla, Axis Bank, Polaris and many more companies have started visiting CGC to get best students and offered up to 31.77 Lakhs p.a.

If we go through the chitkara University then they also provides same facilities like CSE landran but i personally go through the students review and rating so i will recommended Chitakara University due to placements facilities is little bit high rather then CGC .

But both of the colleges are good for career growth with highly scopes .

hope it will helpful

Thanks

Hope you find it helpful.
Thankyou!

dear candidate,CSE is good in CGC Landran , This time we see a trend a shift from CGC Landran to CU Gharuan . CU and CGC are both sister college , the difference is such that all the major companies are being called in CU rather than CGC which we saw the trend earlier and CU also being autonomous University whereas CGC comes under PTU.

Hello

For CSE you can opt for Chandigarh University as it is a A+ grade college and it is ranked 51 by NIRF while CGC have not been ranked by NIRF.You should also opt for Chandigarh University because the average package is higher here as compared to CGC Landren.

Hope you find it useful.

Best of luck

Chitkara University all the way because,

  1. Good crowd unlike the pendu crowd at CGC
  2. Well informed, educated and dedicated teachers
  3. The education module which focuses more towards the industry needs and personality development
  4. No system of admission upon donation unlike CGC Landran that takes 1L Rs.
  5. Strict and Effective administration, primarily due to the presence of retired defence officers at key positions
  6. Most importantly, the chancellor and pro-chancellor being honored educationists
  7. And due to 0 presence of political leaders in the university board, I would say the university isnt corrupted with Black Money !
  8. And above all, strong Placement cell which has strong ties with big industry names for placing srudents

BOTH COLLEGES ARE GOOD FOR PLACEMENTS YOU HAVE TO WORK HARD AND DEVELOP SKILLS.

ALL THE BEST

Hello,

Jhanjeri campus:- it is one of the best campus in mohali. teachers train students for different skills. they organize extra class so that they will be ready to learn new skills to solve in more innovative and optimized way.

You can choose any campus as per your interest or suitable for you. Both the campus has very good academic curriculum which will make sure you understand concepts and use them practically.

The infrastructure of the university is not that great or good but for any private university is very important to build the infrastructure as a part of there priority and improve it in every possible way.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure was good and very hugh in size. Colour combination also decent. But the cleanliness and hygiene were not that maintained as per standards and expectations. Otherwise building and area was soothing to spend 3 years.
