It has all the necessities but compared to other colleges in campus it lacks a bit in infrastructure. It has all the necessities but compared to other colleges in campus it lacks a bit in infrastructure.
The teachers are outstanding and pretty serious about academics. It might feel like school sometimes because of how seriously academics are taken especially in department of commerce and a lot many departments too
I have no much idea about placements as I am in my 3rd year but the companies that are listed for placement are pretty reputed and has all the big 4 but I am not sure about the placement rate and stuff
Yes the college have all the necessary infrastructure but improvement is needed. We have Air conditioner in some classes but not all are working , the sports ground is big and also has a gym, college have wifi connection but there is no network in the college anywhere especially in the classroom we can't even send a message on WhatsApp. Yes there is hostel in the college itself but never experience that .
The teachers are good ,well mannered and helpful. Mine subject is literature based , it doesn't make you job ready but provides you a lot of knowledge about hindi literature. The other subjects like sec , vac sometimes seems boring but if you pick wisely you will learn something
I don't think so by just ba Hons in hindi subject will give someone great placement, one need to pursue higher education for the good placement in this Actually I don't have the accurate answer as I am also a curious about it.
The fees is quite on higher side as compared to other north campus colleges like Hindu , hansraj etc . For my course .
My college experience is good .In 1st year it was like it was feeling bad but after getting in 3rd year we loved it. We make so many memories and we enjoyed coming in college and roaming in campus with friends.
It is good.some teachers are excellent and some are average.they know a lot of details but they can't know how to tell students in a proper way.but overall everything is good and teachers are very helpful.
Its really very bad.there is no placement in some specific courses. Like for ba program o don't think there is any possibility for their placement. And same for the some other courses .and the faculty did not take a check at this.
The college infrastructure is one thing that has to be improved to a very large extend since they don't have sufficient number of rooms for the classes. A lot of time class is take place in the open lawns and rangshala as we have, so there is a high and a big room for improvement in case of infrastructure of the college.
I think its a pretty good college with a lot of options in every subject alon with other electives as well. Teaching quality can be better . I think the curriculum is pretty updated and up to the mark but there is a room for improvement.
I don't like the placements of this college that much. They are very mediocre. since I have not been involved in this field so I don't have much to say about this but I think of the companies which come for the placement are can be improved an increased and along with the range of the students they pick.
Campus of college is comparatively smaller than other DU colleges and does not have enough classrooms for all classes to be held properly. Other than that ground also lacks sports facilities. But basic necessities like labs, medical room, seminar hall etc. are available.
I am pursuing BA english honors and curriculum and academic wise college is pretty good, which also engaged us in various projects, activities, workshops and seminars. faculty is really helpful as well.
Placement is pretty high for economic honors and Bcom students, other course students might have a little difficulty finding the vacancies. However there are regular placement fest held where students can apply.
Not so good infrastructure. Some classes are good some are not ventilated. Washroom are also not in good condition. Shortage of classes. No proper water point also not taste so good. Sometimes get confuse where is the class
Overall Good academic. Regular classes but without self study nothing worth. Some teacher are more than good they will guide you some have satisfactory behaviour students try to understand them and they also co-operate them
Not have much knowledge. There is placement cell and other activities also buy as per my knowledge only some have benefited from it. Also college society want us to be good but it mostly effect our attendance
High courses value as compared to other colleges due to new building
Give many experiences
Its improving, new wings and buildings are being constructed and are almost complete, but it's still not at par with other north campus colleges. Washrooms are not very hygienic, which should be the primary concern in a girls college. Wifi does not work in places where we need it the most, like canteen.
I am studying economics honours. Economics faculty is helpful and knowledgable, and profs often give us assignments that are relevant to current economic developments and give us research projects . t
Very few people get placed, and even fewer get placed in known and reputable companies. Overall poor quality of placements. I dont think the average package is more than 7lpa. incrementum takes place in feb
DRC has a spacious campus with lush green lawns, airy classrooms, a library with a decent collection of books and a central amphitheater which is the heart of cultural events especially annual fest. Some classrooms have projectors but Wi-Fi access can be patchy. However, the old architecture gives it a classic DU charm.
Tue faculty is knowledgeable and supportive in most departments, especially in arts and psychology streams (as per my knowledge this far). Lectures are well structured and encourage discussion, though sometimes administrative processes can be really slow.
Placements are decent for certain courses, with internship opportunities mostly coming through student initiavtes or DU- wide fairs. The alumni network is strong, especially in media, research and academics.
The annual fee is very affordable compared to private universities, usually around ₹10,000-₹15,000 per year for most courses. Considering the exposure, DU affiliation, faculty quality and environment it’s definitely value for money. Although sometimes fees increases to ₹28,000-₹30,000 too.
The college has a vibrant cultural scene with active societies for dance, drama, music, and debates. Fests are lively and give great exposure.
Daulat Ram offers a lively campus life, dedicated faculty, and plenty of cultural societies to explore your interests. Being part of Delhi University, you also get exposure, opportunities, and the classic NORTH CAMPUS vibe that give you stories to tell for years!
College has decent facilities—good library, computer labs, and basic classrooms. Some areas need upgrades, but improvements are ongoing. Overall, it has been a positive experience with the resources provided.
I'm studying B.A. (Hons) History. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, making learning engaging. The curriculum is fairly updated, covering important historical periods and themes that help build a solid foundation for further studies or competitive exams. Overall, the teaching quality is good and encourages critical thinking.
Placement opportunities are limited as it’s mainly an academic college. Few students get placed through campus drives, but most focus on higher studies or competitive exams. In humanities courses, most student plan for competitive exams .
Thr infrastructure is quite okay. You will have an ample of space to study.Plus all the buildings are nice. They are kept clean most of the times. The lawn area is also very beautiful and you can chill around. Library is amazing.
I am pursuing Bsc. (H) Mathematics and I am quite happy and satisfied with the whole department. The professors are very friendly, and have good knowledge of the subject, they teach with dedication and make it easy to learn.
The quality of placements has been better than it was a few years back. Even my course now provides good placements to students particularly interested in data, analytics and the teachers guide you throughout.
Although the fees is a bit higher than the other dude colleges, 31,600 for Bsc(H) Mathematics , yet it was still one of the best options I would have got for the course. The teachers make it worth your money.
The campus life is also too good, we don't take part in du politics and so no chaos during elections, plus girls all around make it such a pretty environment where you will always feel secure and safe.
