I’m doing a BA Programme in History and Political Science.

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is average—nothing too fancy, but it meets the basic needs. However, the library stands out as one of the best parts of the college. It's well-maintained, has a good collection of books, and provides a peaceful environment that’s perfect for studying.

      Academics

I am currently pursuing a BA Programme with a combination of History and Political Science. This subject combination provides a deep understanding of historical events and political systems, which helps in developing analytical and critical thinking skills. It’s a great choice for students interested in civil services, teaching, or research-based careers. At my college, almost all the faculty members are really good. They are supportive, well-qualified, and approachable. They teach in an engaging manner and are always ready to help students with their doubts. Regular classes are held, and students are encouraged to participate in discussions. However, the workload is a bit high. Since it is a programme course, there are frequent submissions, assignments, and tests across all subjects, often scheduled around the same time, which can be quite stressful. The infrastructure of the college is average—classrooms and facilities are basic, but functional. One of the best parts of the college is the library. It is quiet, well-maintained, and has a good collection of books, making it a perfect place to study. In my opinion, it’s not just about the campus but about how you use your time. Joining societies really helps in learning, exposure, and overall growth.

      Placements

To be honest, I’m not really aware of the placement scenario in my college because I haven’t explored that area much. Since I’m personally not interested in placements and plan to pursue further studies or explore other career paths, I never looked into the placement opportunities or the kind of companies that visit the campus.

      Value for Money

The fees are almost three times higher compared to other North Campus colleges. For example, I’m pursuing a BA Programme and the fee is around ₹32,000 per annum, whereas in other colleges it's usually between ₹10,000 to ₹14,000 per annum for the same course. The environment here is good, but I personally believe that you have to find the right environment for your own growth. Joining active societies really helps—they offer a lot of opportunities for learning and development.

      Campus Life

Ihave a different opinion about campus life. I believe it’s not really about the campus, it’s about the college itself. Just think practically—if you’re in Daulat Ram College, will you be interacting with SRCC students on a daily basis? Probably not. So, focus on choosing the right college, not just the campus.

It's good, I like being here.

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is okay, could be better. The new classrooms are nice and have air conditioning which makes studying more comfy. The older ones don't have AC though. But the college hostel is pretty nice. Overall it's a decent setup for students.

      Academics

Academics here are good. The college has a good focus on academics. Most of the faculty are good and knowledgeable. We also have mid semester exams. Overall, academics at Daulat Ram college is a nice experience

      Placements

From what I've heard, placements here are good. I'm not totally sure about all the details yet. But the college's placement cell is very active in helping students get opportunities. Annually Incrementum (i.e. the internship and career fair)is held, so that's good.

      Value for Money

Personally, I think it is worth the investment

      Campus Life

Campus life depends on how outgoing you are, there is so much to explore if you want to.

They need to upgrade college for North campus worthy.

      College Infrastructure

Drc has a decent infrastructure. The Library is good and spacious with enough seating. However, college has poor WiFi connection expect in library. Washrooms are cmean enough but the auditorium washrooms are not.

      Academics

My experience with a few teachers is good. They teach good and explain nicely but few others sometimes get confused themselves when asked a question. I've had one teacher two semesters and she doesn't even get to complete syllabus before end sems. We have to study few chapters on our own.

      Placements

The placement cell is not so good. They don't bring very good internships for us. I don't know anything about the package offered here and very few students were placed. I only saw 3-4 companies come by for placement.

      Value for Money

They charge fee higher than other colleges and it's not that worth.

      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is not well maintained. There is no department of Political science. Shortage of class rooms . Difficulty in scheduling of classes Poor infrastructure Greenery is there Some new classrooms are good

      Academics

Sometimes professors are unhelpful but some professors are too good .They give us notes and study material. Some professors are quite disciplined and strict too. They are strict about attendance .They don't promote extra curricular

      Placements

No help on part of placements No benefit No placements for me or my friends or group . We ourselves have to find and hunt stuffs for us No help on part of placements ........... ... . . .. ...

      College Infrastructure

Daulat Ram college is a college who persue highest fees in whole north campus... So the infrastructure is not as good as the fees I payed ... But for academic it is good ... But remember of the infrastructure is not matter.

      Academics

DRC is good for academic and for Science subject DRC is really very good ???????? so you can chose this college for science subject.the academic is very good the professor of this college is so honest to their teaching.

      Placements

In placement DRC is really good ???? in DRC there is placement cell called vridhi and it is really as good as it's name so you can also join this cell for very valuable placement. And our college is so reputable so this favours you...

Good teaching , okayish infrastructure, perks of NC

      College Infrastructure

College is too small as compared to other North Campus colleges and the ACs fixed in auditorium or conference hall never function well. We wrote exams in burning heat even inside the college . Washrooms are okayish

      Academics

Academics is pretty good but out of 3 core teachers sometimes it happens that 1 doesn't teach at all and others teach good So depends on luck, but yeah you will be able to study well a good library for great support and well supportive teachers

      Placements

I don't know about this Placement Cell handles this and many internships are sent frequently but l don't have any idea about it. According to me there may be none of very few for BA but may be more for bcom etc

      Value for Money

Too expensive 32k for BA hns Political Science as compared to others where it is 16-17k as teaching is good,no politics although peaceful environment ,good food but again poor infra although new building being built

      Campus Life

Right now it is good not the best

It's been a rollercoaster and I recommend the ride

      College Infrastructure

I love my college because of the societies I'm working in or have worked in, I've learnt alot from them I love the concept of finding like minded people who are equally passionate about the things you love unlike people who just don't get it. If we talk about basic facilities and infrastructure , we (commerce department) don't have any classes alloted to us like the psych dept or zoology dept and many others; so sometimes on busy college days we have to sit in scorching heat, also we would love if more classes had air conditioning because it is unbearable mostly. Another thing that's like THE MAJOR LACK is we don't have drinkable water in the coolers, we have to buy mineral water every day, if we are going to our college I think it's a basic necessity to have drinkable water atleast. Equipments are provided labs are fully equipped, we could add some basketball hoops or football nets , I mean some sports would be nice. Library is a good place, some classes have smart boards to it's good. Canteen is also not really nice but amul and Nescafe are the survival kit.

      Academics

I'm studying bcom Hons and I attend less classes due to being in cultural societies, but my teachers have been more or less amazing. They are understanding and are outstanding at their jobs. Not just main subject teachers vac, sec, ge they are all amazing.

      Placements

I'm sorry I'm unaware of this section of the college. I don't want to have a job right after college, because I'll joining film school after 3rd yr. And the minimum no of words is 200 so I'm just writing something anyways.

      Value for Money

Our fees is high in comparison to other du colleges, they've been asking for that money for construction and all but there has not been much of the construction in 2 years but yes before we were about to start last sem exams there was some work, hope to see progress when we return after our yr break. Course cost was 36k for the first yr and I don't remember exact but it was 32-35k somewhere around that ig it was def in 30s. Teacher's are nice and being in a girls college has been fun which I never imagined but it has been. Here people have the intellectual capacity to understand ideas of another. So I enjoy when I can talk about things I am working on and so on.

      Campus Life

Campus is not amazing tbh, but it's not bad, sometimes it looks like you're entering a hospital but it's just sometimes. College life in terms of society again is mind blowing if you set your steps in the right place. Most teachers are supportive and engaging. It's a very safe campus tho, there has never been a time I've felt uncomfortable in my college even when I've stayed very late many a nights. I've never faced an emergency as such but yes one of our soc members during practice fainted and we ran to toh medical room and the ma'am came running with us with required items.

      Others

I love my college more than I hate it's flaws, but I would really appreciate if you guys could forward the points for betterment to them, and ofcs please do it anonymously ????

Overall DRC is worth it. One here will transform for sure.

      College Infrastructure

The College is well equipped with all the essential infrastructure needed, from good classrooms, labs, spacious library to hostels etc. It has all. And to add on a new block is also building so expansion is gonna happen.

      Academics

Academics is amazing here. The faculty is truly exceptional especially for the political science department I can say it's amazing. The pedagogy is fantabulous. And student professor bond is also great.

      Placements

Placements are okayish like one has to be excellent in their field in order to secure one, rest the placement cell is actively working for its betterment. Career fairs do happen and companies do approach so good opportunity for internship.

      Good overall

      College Infrastructure

Under construction but beautiful. Most places are clean but washrooms can be better. There is no network inside the college but it's the case with every college in the North Campus. Library is typically pretty occupied for 1-3 hours each day.

      Academics

Experienced and helpful faculty, academics is taken very seriously here. College starts earliers than others (8 am) and closes around 5pm. Commerce students have access to a well furnished computer lab, and many courses under VAC, SEC is offered.

      Placements

Decent placements. Good RoI. Placement cell also holds various sessions, workshops, etc related to different careers. CV vetting sessions, Annual Internship Fair, Regular Opportunities, Campus Placements are organised by the Placement cell.

      Value for Money

I am paying around 30K per year.

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is fi ne not very good. Labs have equipment and Ac . Washrooms were not very good but they are going under construction. The wifi connection is there but it is very slow. The food in canteen is fine.

      Academics

I ma studying biochemistry . The lab is good and teachers are also fine . Teaching is also fine . The curriculum is also fine but have extra papers like vac, sec that are not actually important or beneficial.

      Placements

I have just completed second year so don't know that much about placements .But I have heard from seniors that the placement are average and not very good. Also there is not 100% placement. Also average placement is low.

      Value for Money

The fees is little high than other college

      Campus Life

The campus life is fine. There are many workshop and fests .
