GBS Kolkata MAT cut off for mba is approx 75%+.
The average package (100% placements) of GSB is 5.97 lacs and highest is 16 lacs while of Doon is 5.20 lacs average and highest being 17 lacs. In doon placements are good for marketing.
The revviews for GBS kolkata are better although for marketing go with doon.
I hope this helps.
Shubhadeep, Doon Business School accepts a score of 400+ in MAT for admission. Although MAT score is a qualifying criteria. You will have further rounds- group discussion and personal interview. The final admission is done on the basis of your performance in GD, PI as well as your MAT score. So yes, according to your composite score, you can get a call for the next rounds. Although the final admission will be given only after you qualify your GD and PI rounds. Hope it helps.
Hello!
Although it is advisable to take a drop, prepare well of mba entrances and get admission in top b schools of india, but if you cannot afford to take a drop then i would say that doon b school is okayish. Better go for ndim delhi, itm navi mumbai, bimm pune, christ University banglore, jims rohini.

Hi aspirant,
UPES hands down. There is no comparison between the two schools. The College of Management & Economics Studies of UPES provides way better internships, certifications, industry recognised degrees, domain tailored MBAs, and finally, better job offers. They hold around 95% placement stats and serious students have landed up in Crisil, KPMG, Amazon, etc. with 6 digit salaries, which in a few cases exceeds those of IIMs. Generally, ROI too would be better than that of an ICFAI or DBS for most pupils. It is true UPES is not in the league of IIMs and other top privates, but then again it is not in the league of those like DBS. So if fees is not an issue for you, and you manage to clear the entrance procedures, UPES of course is a better option.
hope this may help you
best of luck

Hope that helps.
The facilities at Doon Business School are lacking to some extent but most of the facilities are well managed ,The library has lots of books related to every course and newspaper is also available, college classes are very neat and clean and the cafeteria provides tasty food.
Campus is well equipped with gadgets such as digital classrooms, library, and IT labs but few of the technology facilities are old. Wi-Fi facility exists but AI-integrated labs and cloud computing facilities will be helpful for the students.
The campus infrastructure is full of greenery and well maintained, classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors ensuring interactive sessions. The hostels were also clean and warden was also friendly. I was satisfied with the campus.
