Very good infrastructure and have all the details in this and faculty is very nice but I feel it could be better than anything else I feel this could be very much better i feel nice when this happens.
mine experience was extremely lethargic as the college management sometimes feels to be little inactive and can't even sometimes manage their own students.Creating many departments in a single college.
Very great placement in the college very active cell in the college I feel like this could be better but still feel nice tha cell is active wow college and nice cell , placement cell is active of my college

yes , our college has better infra then other colleges and also well equipment facilities, sport centres , and wifi in library also big canteen , sports is also good , no smart boards and food is very good
i m studying computer science and find it intresting and also this course is good and trending quality of teaching is very nice and faculty of teaching is very top noch i genuinely appreciate syllabus
placement team is very active and very nice team of coordinators and highest package was 24.8 LPA and Bcom mostly and computer science and eco hons . easy process and college is supportive and very nice.
college has all necessary infrastructure and facilities, classroom are good, but the building looks quite old, college have all facilities such as libraries, laboratories, sports ground etc. But the college doesn't have a Wi-Fi connection, neither they have smart boards in class nor AC in any classroom.
Teachers are quite good they came to class on time and teaches, without wasting time. one thing which is bad is some teachers cancel the class anytime without informing. they are quite flexible also they help the student with doubt.
average placement, neither too good nor to bad. Nearly 70 -75 % students got placed last year, with the highest package of 36 LPA for BCom and an average package of 5.7 LPA, companies like EY, DELOITTE ICICI BANK came for hiring student.
Can say that value for money as the teachers are teaching u academics syllabus. taking test and conducting practical. u get many opportunities while perusing your degree, if u have interest in sports, dance, singing u get chance to participate in many competitions.
campus life is good, as there are many things to do in college other than just going for study, there are many societies in the college with many interests such as dance, theatre, singing, finance, ncc, nss etc.
college is good as compared to other government colleges
The campus is clean and green, giving it a refreshing vibe. Classrooms are spacious, and the library is one of the strongest points. The canteen is affordable and popular among students, though the overall setup is more functional than fancy.
Academics at Dayal Singh are quite balanced. Professors are approachable and focus on concept clarity rather than rote learning. Regular assignments and projects keep students engaged, and serious learners get good guidance for higher studies.
Placements are decent for commerce and economics students, with companies like Deloitte and Wipro visiting. The placement cell is supportive, but students need to work on skills and internships to bag good opportunities.
The infrastructure at that time was average. Classrooms are spacious but not very comfortable. There were few classes which were air conditioned. Lamp where is organised and the ground was small. Overall, it is good.
The academics were top notch. Faculties were among the best. Some were part time but very supportive. Faculty is knowledgeable and approachable still today. If you want to gain practical as well as theoretical knowledge should come to this college.
The placement were good. The placement cell was very proactive. Companies like Genpact, EY, KPMG, PwC generally visit campus. Placements are strong for Commerce and economics students with packages ranging between 3-6 LPA.
Good
The campus spreads across a large area with plenty of green cover and shaded spots for relaxation. Classrooms are properly ventilated, and science labs are stocked with essential instruments for practicals. The canteen serves affordable and hygienic food, making it a popular hangout space.
The academic environment is rigorous yet supportive. Faculty members are highly qualified and ensure that students are well-prepared for exams and future career opportunities. Apart from regular lectures, workshops and guest lectures add practical exposure.
Commerce and economics students enjoy good campus placements with consulting and finance firms. Companies like EY and Deloitte are regular recruiters. Students from humanities and science mostly depend on internships, research roles, or UPSC/competitive exam preparation after graduation.
Being a DU college, the cost of education is minimal compared to private colleges offering similar courses. Students gain access to cultural events, internships, and academic resources without extra charges, which makes the experience worth every rupee.
Campus life is diverse and vibrant with active participation in cultural events, literary societies, and departmental fests. Students have ample opportunities to engage in debates, dramatics, music, and volunteer work through societies like NSS and Enactus.
Spacious classrooms with fans, projectors, and proper ventilation make studying comfortable. The library is well-maintained with both traditional and digital resources, and the reading halls are perfect for long study hours. Science labs are functional and updated with essential equipment.
Teachers focus on developing critical thinking skills and make lectures interactive through discussions and group tasks. The syllabus is structured to give students both foundational and applied knowledge. Guest lectures and seminars also help students gain practical insights.
The placement cell is active and organizes pre-placement talks, skill-building sessions, and workshops. While commerce students often secure good job offers, students from arts and science streams rely more on internships and off-campus recruitment for career opportunities.
Dyal Singh College offers excellent ROI as its fees are minimal for the kind of exposure students receive. Students also get access to internships, skill-building courses, and academic events, making the overall package highly cost-effective.
Students enjoy an active campus life with numerous clubs and societies catering to arts, drama, literature, and entrepreneurship. The college fest and sports events bring energy and excitement, creating memories for a lifetime.
The campus has modern classrooms equipped with projectors, well-organized computer labs, and well-stocked science labs. The college canteen serves hygienic food at affordable prices, making it a student favorite. Green spaces and shaded areas provide a comfortable place for outdoor study and breaks.
The college is known for its academic strength. Professors are approachable and knowledgeable, offering guidance for academic and career growth. The syllabus includes internal assessments, projects, and presentations, which promote interactive learning.
Placements are best for commerce students, with companies like KPMG, Deloitte, and other consulting firms visiting the campus. Science and arts students get internships, sometimes in research-based roles, but on-campus job opportunities for these streams are limited.
For a government college under DU, the fees are very low compared to the facilities and exposure provided. Students get access to seminars, workshops, and cultural programs without any additional heavy costs, making it highly affordable
The college offers a rich cultural environment with active societies in dance, music, debate, and photography. Events and fests happen regularly, keeping students engaged beyond academics. Inter-college competitions add more thrill to the experience.
By 2022, the infrastructure had improved compared to earlier years. Classroom were good but not fully modernized. The library was a good resource and quite enough for serious study. College's location on lodhi road, which made it very accessible.
The faculty in most departments, especially political science and commerce were really strong. Many professors were approachable and encouraged discussions beyond the syllabus. At the same time, there were a few teachers who were less engaging.
Placements were better for commerce, economics and science students than for humanities. Of you good companies did come but overall, most students had to actively apply outside DU's Central placement cell as well.
Good
