36 MonthsBachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering is three years (6 Semester) full-time undergraduate Lateral Entry engineering program offered by Jain University, Bangalore.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate who has passed any Diploma or B.Sc. (PCM, PMCs, PME) or equivalent examination and scored a minimum of 45% (40% in case of SC, ST and Backward Classes of Karnataka candidates.) marks taken together in all the compulsory subjects of the final year (Fifth and sixth semester) diploma Examination (Q.E) will be eligible for admission to the B.Tech courses.
Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics, Electronics Engineering.
Admission Details
- Lateral Entry admissions are based on Diploma Percentage and availability of the seats.
- Selected candidates with Provisional Admission Offer Letter must score a minimum of 60% in Diploma to complete the admission process.
- Provisional admissions are valid subject to submission of original documents at Jayanagar campus and verification from the University.
- The Decision taken by the Admission Department / University office will be final in any condition.

All the depatments have well equiped labs and smart classrooms. All branch acedemics and reference books are available. Hostels are spacious and wifi enabled.Separate hostels for boys and girls. Best in class sports centres.
