Although the final round of selection process may not carry a very high weightage and a shortlist is almost a confirmation to final admission offer, a good performance in GD/WAT and PI rounds would strengthen your admission chances.
Good Luck!
Hello Sufiza,
Call from IIMs or FMS depends majorly on your CAT percentile while call from XLRI depends majorly on your XAT score. Though marks of 10th,12th and your graduation also matter but main criterion on which IIMs,FMS and XLRI calls you is your CAT and XAT percentile respectively. You need to get a very good CAT or XAT score in order to get admitted into one of these institutes.
Good luck!

Hope this helps
Thanks!!
CAT eligibility is actually based on Graduation marks which should be 50% for General and 45% for SC/ST. 10th and 12th marks doesn't play any role in eligibilty. However, with 57 and 65 % in 10th and +2 it is quite difficult to get admission in ABC&K and FMS even if you score 99 percentile.
hii abhi
For non-reserved category cut-off is in the range of 98.8-99.2 percentile in CAT score & nothing else. For those who clear the cut-off criteria:
The CAT score (not percentile) gets rebased to 85 (i.e. Your score/Total score (used to be 450)*85).
For admissions 2014 they had scrapped GDs. Interview score is out of 10 and Extempore out of 5.
extempore is spoken or done without preparation where you will be asked to speak without preparation
regards
Apart from cutoffs, There are various criteria for shortlisting and selection after clearing CAT with good score such as past academic records, Extra curricular activity, work experience etc. In Order to get admission in FMS Delhi, You require more than 98% in CAT Entrance Exam. The Candidates are shortlisted based on CAT scores. VARC section is given 40% weightage whereas the other 2 sections are given 30% weightage each. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Extempore and Group Discussion rounds.
Good Luck!

CAT 2018: When and how to start preparationsBeing a central university, its campus is well maintained. Classrooms are tidy, air-conditioned or otherwise, and well equipped with projectors and comfortable chairs. The library is superb spacious, friendly, quiet, and well stocked with management books, journals, and access to electronic libraries.
The infrastructure is different from department to department. Some departments have really high-tech facilities, and others are pretty basic. Libraries are fantastic for marketing resources. There are some problems with parking and Wi-Fi on many campuses.
The infrastructure is above average. It has all facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, A/C classrooms, library and medical facilities. Labs and classrooms are air-conditioned and contain all the required material. The mess was also designed well, and the food was awesome.
