FUEL Business School, Pune (FBS) is one of the few standalone institutes of national importance that offer postgraduate programmes in management. FBS admission process aims at selecting candidates with a strong academic background and managerial potential. The FBS has the flexibility of accepting scores from various national-level entrance exams, thereby allowing applicants from different backgrounds.

To get admitted to FBS, it is necessary for candidates to have appeared for any of the competitive entrance examinations approved by AICTE. These competitive examinations are: CAT (Common Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test), ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions), and GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test).

The application process for FUEL Business School, Pune, is designed to be very comprehensive and evaluate candidates from multiple parameters. Here is a stepwise procedure to the application process:

• Appear for any of the accepted entrance exams - CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, or GMAT. Ensure that the candidate meets the minimum score requirement as laid out by FBS for the exam.

• Assessment of team skills, leadership potential, and the ability to articulate ideas effectively in Group Discussion will be held for some programmes.

The basic eligibility criterion for admission into FBS programmes demands holding a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university. Further additional academic qualifications may vary from one programme to the next, but candidates are usually believed to maintain an overall good record throughout their undergraduate studies.

PGDM: FUEL Business School offers the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), whose intake has been approved for 60 students. The admission procedure for graduate study in PGDM will be by admission through any of the competitive examinations mentioned before (CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, or other AICTE-approved examinations). Interested eligible candidates may apply for PGDM upon obtaining a valid score in any of the above-mentioned examinations.

PGDM Business Analytics: Another PGDM specialisation offered at FBS is Business Analytics, approved for an intake of 60 students. This programme has a similar admission procedure as the general PGDM programme. Candidates should have taken one of the AICTE-approved competitive examinations. This specialised programme is for candidates interested in pursuing a career at the confluence of management and data analytics.
