GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam Facilities
GITAM Institute of Management has various facilities and infrastructure for the students, staff and faculty. The facilities and infrastructure include a knowledge research centre, computer centre, auditorium, seminar and conference hall, sports facilities, hostel facilities, libraries, HSBC English language learning centre and a hobby centre. Given below are the brief details of the facilities and infrastructure offered by GITAM Institute of Management.
Knowledge Research Centre- The library of GITAM is known as Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) that has around 12 lakh books including e-books, periodicals, national and international journals.
Computer Centre- GIM has around 306 systems and are equipped with internet facilities.
Auditorium, Seminar and Conference Hall- GIM has 6 auditoriums and they have a seating capacity of around 3000 students. Various seminars/conferences/ workshops, guest lectures are organised in the auditoriums of GIM.
Sports Facilities- GITAM has provided various facilities for indoor and outdoor sports like an indoor stadium, gymnasium, running tracks, cricket ground, volleyball and basketball courts, etc.
Hostel Facilities- Separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls are offered by GITAM wherein all the modern facilities are equipped in the hostel blocks and the accommodation capacity of the hostels is 900 girls and 700 boys.
- HSBC English Language Learning Centre- This facility has 60 work stations wherein students are taught English skills by reading, writing, speaking and listening.
- Boys Hostel
GITAM has separate hostel facilities for boys in the campuses. All the rooms of the hostels are well equipped and provided with internet facility. Most modern and mechanized kitchens in hostels provide hygienic food and potable water. The hostels are also provided with recreation and indoor game facilities. Saddharma Sadan & Shanti Sadan provide accommodation for nearly 700 boys.
- Girls Hostel
GITAM has separate hostel facilities for girls in the campuses. All the rooms of the hostels are well equipped and provided with internet facility. Most modern and mechanized kitchens in hostels provide hygienic food and potable water. The hostels are also provided with recreation and indoor game facilities. KOKILA SADAN provides a secure and homely accommodation for more than 900 girls.
- Medical/Hospital
The medical facility is available in this college.
- Gym
The college has a Gymnasium facility for the students.
- Library
Management information cent center a very rich collection of management books, journals and self-improvement booksDepartmental libraries are available within each department premises.
- Sports
GITAM has good indoor and outdoor sports facilities viz., indoor stadium, gymnasium, running tracks, cricket ground, volleyball and basketball courts, etc. The tennis courts are of international standards and many tournaments are organized in GITAM. Students are encouraged to participate in sports and cultural programmes.
- I.T Infrastructure
GIM is proud to have a 306 Desk Top Computer Lab well equipped with Internet Facilities.
- Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
- Auditorium
GITAM has six auditoria with seating capacity of about 3000. These auditoria are used for organizing National & International Seminars / Conferences/ Workshops, Guest Lectures of national and international repute, Campus placements, Student Tech-Festivals, Students' meets, Alumni meet, Parents meets, Cultural programmes, etc.
- Alumni Associations
The stature of the GITAM Institute of Management rests on three strong foundations: its heritage, its core values, and its people-the students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni who are continually shaping and re-shaping the institution. This report focuses on the Institute's engagement with a critically important branch of its family: the alumni. Alumni relations are maintained through Alumni Association comprising Alumni Chair Person Prof. K. Ashok and Alumni Coordinator Dr. T. Venkateswarlu. There are 5158 registered alumni. We estimate that between 20 and 30 percent are reliably accessible by e-mail. Alumni of GITAM Institute of Management (previously also known as College of Management studies) are located in different parts of the country like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru etc. Some of our alumni are located in different parts of the world like USA, UK, Germany, Dubai etc.
- Laboratories
The laboratories are provided with sophisticated equipment, furniture, and fixtures in accordance with good laboratory practices.
- Convenience Store
For a comfortable living and learning, the campuses of GITAM are provided with facilities like post office, books and stationery stores, medical shop.

My college have all the basic equipment whether it may be classrooms,laboratories,sport center,gym and hostel. Wifi is not available for students but available for Faculty. All the living spaces are clean and are taken care with everyday cleaning. Renovation of the college is taking place these days. The college is going to be with its new look after its renovation.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is excellent. Classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. Washrooms are well-maintained. Huge common library along with individual libraries for each department. Computer labs are well equipped. There are around 10 eateries, all of them serve great food. Great in terms of quality, value for money and hygiene. There's a huge sports centre as well.

Yes our collage has good infrastructure, facilities, and equipment in my classes, laboratories, sports centers and hostels they are well used and maintained well our collages grounds and living spaces likes classes are clean and good our collage canteen Or hostel cook house Matained clean and neet and good hygienic food we have good purified water facilities, our laboratories are full safety and good Aqupied labs even ground and sports centers are Matained well we have playing almost all games

If the last date to fill the form has passed, then you can’t fill it now. You could go for some other college or wait till next year’s admission process begins.

To answer your query, GIM PGDM would be the best option, though all the institutes are really good, but GIM has better exposure and better placements in comparison to IMT and FORE.

Joined NMIMS Banglore MBA, wait listed for IRMA , GIM and FORE, which one should I take?I think FORE is similar to NMIMS Bangalore. Give your opinions please which one should I take.
IRMA is a very good college given that you are interested in Rural Management. Also GIM, Goa is a good B-school. It all depends on your stream and location.
