B-School especially adapted to future business managers and executives, Pune's Global Institute of Business Management and Decision Sciences (GIBDS). Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the institute offers two postgraduate diploma programs in management with a combined intake of 180 students.

To select the right candidates-in terms of background education and potential for leadership-GIBDS has a complete admission process. This period generally coordinates with the academic calendar, beginning with the courses in August or September of each year. To apply as a prospective student, one must be an undergraduate with 50 percent marks and above.

Application Process

The application procedure for the PGDM programs of GIBDS involves the under-mentioned steps:

1. Entrance Exam: Attempt as per any accepted national-level entrance exam (CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, AIMA, or others).

2. Application Submission: After the entrance exam score card is received, go to the GIBDS official website (https://gibds.org/) to enter the application form.

3. Fill the Application Form: Complete with appropriate personal and academic details in the application form. Mention your entrance exam score and registration number.

4. Document Submission: Prepare and submit the following documents along with your application.

• Photograph (passport size)
• Mark sheets of 10th, 12th, and graduation (all semesters/years)
• Entrance exam score card
• Work experience certificate if applicable
• Caste certificate if applicable

5. Application Fee: Pay the application fee as provided by the institute on its website.

6. Verification: Admissions Committee checks the application for document verification.

7. Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates may be called for more rounds, which may involve group discussions or personal interviews.

8. Final Selection: Selection is completely based on the entrance exam score, academic performance, and performance in any selection rounds, if applicable.

Degree wise Admission Process

PGDM: GIBDS has a sanctioned capacity of 120 students for the PG Diploma in Management (PGDM) program. This program will consider students with a valid score from any accepted national level entrance examinations (CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, AIMA, or any other recognized national-level exam). Students must have graduated with at least 50 percent marks for eligibility.

PGDM Business Analytics: GIBDS has a specialized PGDM in Business Analytics that has an approved intake of 60 students. These admissions requirements are similar to the admission requirements for the general PGDM program. Eligible students should have a valid score in any of the well-accepted national-level entrance exams and they must have graduated from their bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks.

Both PGDM programs are full-time and geared for two years, providing both academic knowledge and firsthand practical experience in their respective fields. The curriculum is based dynamically on the needs of the business environment, making it bright for careers in management and analytics.
