Government Polytechnic, Kanker Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Government Polytechnic Kanker admission is offered to diploma courses in the field of Engineering. The Department Of Technical Education (DTE) will conduct the Government Polytechnic Kanker admissions. 

The announcement of admissions is made on the official website of Government Polytechnic Kanker. The candidates have to appear for the PPT (Pre Polytechnic Test) after passing 10th.

At diploma level Government Polytechnic Kanker admissions are offered to engineering programmes including Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

Government Polytechnic Kanker Diploma Admissions - Seat Intake and Eligibility Criteria

• Selected candidates will be called for the counselling process.

• The dates of counselling programme shall be published in the state/national newspapers and shall also be uploaded on the website of the Directorate of Technical Education cgdteraipur.cgstate.gov.in, and respective websites for online counselling of different courses. 

• For participating in the online counselling for different courses, the candidates have to deposit Rs 200 as counselling fees.

• Candidates must submit their documents for verification.

• The option of choice filling will be available to the candidates who have successfully made it into the merit list. 

• Students can choose their option however the allocation will be dependent on the rank in the common examination, number of applicants, availability of seats.

• Marksheet of common entrance test (PPT)

• Domicile certificate of chhattisgarh (if applicable)

• Disability certificate (if applicable)

Note: Priority shall be given in admission for candidate of related districts for Government Polytechnics of Sarguja, Baster, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Kanker, KOriya, Jashpur, Sukma, Ramanujganj, Kondagaon, Surajpur district. Priority in admission at the institute level shall be given to candidates of home district on the basis of merit of marks obtained in 10th.
