Since its inception, Government Polytechnic, Kanker has aimed to produce environment friendly, knowledgeable technicians with psychomotor and cognitive skills, ethical values and leadership qualities to fulfil the needs of a progressive world. The diploma degree offered by the institute is a 3-year (6 semesters) programme. This technical programme is offered in various disciplines like- civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and electronics & telecommunication engineering. Students can choose any of these as their engineering diploma subject if they satisfy the eligibility criteria for the same. All the 3 courses that Government Polytechnic, Kanker offers are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
