Government Polytechnic, Nuapada Facilities
Government Polytechnic Nuapada facilities are designed to support students’ academic, physical, and personal development. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls, each providing comfort, security, and nutritious meals. Students also have access to a clean and well-maintained cafeteria, a fully equipped gym, and diverse sports facilities. The auditorium serves as a hub for seminars, workshops, and cultural programmes, enriching the overall campus experience.
To strengthen academic excellence, Government Polytechnic Nuapada facilities include a modern central library with extensive print and digital resources. The Government Polytechnic Nuapada is also equipped with advanced IT infrastructure and well-maintained departmental laboratories that support practical learning. Additional services such as a guest room facility and medical facility are also available.
- Boys Hostel
The college provides separate hostel accommodation for boys. The boys hostel has a capacity of 150 students. Government Polytechnic Nuapada boys hostel facilities include spacious and comfortable rooms, hostel mess, good food and some other facilities.
- Girls Hostel
The college provides separate and comfortable hostel accommodation for girls. The girls hostel has a capacity of 100 students. Security is available round the clock. Healthy food is provided in the hostel mess.
- Cafeteria
The cafeteria facilities are provided to both students and staff. The cafeteria and its surroundings are well-maintained. The cafeteria provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
- Library
The College Central Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources (print and electronic) in the forms of CDROMs, DVD-ROM, online databases, micro-documents, video cassettes, books, journals, theses and reports. It has also developed a full-fledged E-Resource centre equipped with necessary modern equipment in order to provide various digital mode library services. Digital Library has developed an institutional digital repository using open-source software DSpace, which preserves the institute’s intellectual publications.

The excellent I.T infrastructure facilities are provided to the students. These I.T infrastructure facilities enhance the learning experience of students and help them in staying updated with the latest technology.
- Alumni Associations
Alumni Associations act as a link between existing students and their alumni. Alumni Associations provide students with good networking opportunities. The college organises alumni meets where students get to meet their alumni and learn from their experiences.
- Laboratories
Government Polytechnic Nuapada laboratory facilities are provided to the students. These laboratories are provided on a departmental basis. These laboratories help students in gaining hands-on experience.
- Gym
Government Polytechnic Nuapada provides gym facility to its students. The gym has all the required equipment. Gym timings are flexible. Students can go to the gym either in the morning or in the evening.

- Guest Room/Waiting Room
Government Polytechnic Nuapada guest room facility is provided to both family members of students and visiting faculty. The guest room provided is comfortable and consists of all the required amenities.
- Medical/Hospital
Government Polytechnic Nuapada medical facility is provided to both students and staff. The medical facilities provided include first aid facility, general treatment and emergency care in times of emergency.
- Training and Placement Cell
The Training and Placement Cell of the college arranges campus interviews and coordinates the recruitment process of students. The placement cell also provides placement related guidance and support to its students.
