The Government Polytechnic situated at Sorab Taluk, Shivamogga District of Karnataka, is one of the established technical institutions with a richness of experience. It was started as an affiliated college and then developed a status for providing quality education in different fields of engineering. Affiliated with AICTE, the raised institute has a 25-acre space that proves advantageous in offering optimal Denmark conditions for study. Government Polytechnic, Shivamogga, has a total of five diploma courses : Civil, Automobile, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, all of which are regular time-based, having practical as well as theoretical elements.
