Government Polytechnic Sonepur facilities are equipped with a variety of facilities for the use of students. - Boys Hostel
A large, separate boys' hostel is provided by the institute for up to 180 students. It is equipped with continuous security service, shared furnished rooms, and a strict study culture is ensured by regular communication with the parents.
- Girls Hostel
The campus has a separate ladies' hostel with a capacity of 180 persons, which guarantees a safe and secure environment. Besides the boys' hostel, it is also equipped with 24-hour power and water supply, clean dining, and study rooms under supervision.
- Library
The main library was founded in 2013; it has an air conditioning system and a total area of 2,100 sq. ft. It also keeps more than 8,000 volumes of books. For its digital cataloguing, the library uses eGranthalaya software and has a silent reading room with 15 large tables for both reference and research.
