The college has great infrastructure and I love all the facilities here and they have good canteen with affordable rates for all the food items and they have good library and good big classrooms for all
The academics here is up to date as I’ve completed my b.com from this college they helped me out To develop and grow the skills which are really required in this field and they had good teachers for all the subjects
This college is great for placement as i know there are many big companies who come here with good packages for b.com background and they gave highest package of 5 lakhs annually which is great and average of 2 lakhs annually
The fees for 3 years here is affordable
The campus is big and great
The college is good for studies and events too
Infrastructure is very nice ,the place is neat and clean and cafeteria is very hygienic and there are lots of facilities provided like library which is very nice ,they also have chemistry laboratory and a huge sports ground
Academic is not good here ,they don't actually teach what is necessary as job perspective, they teach only what is in the textbook not more than that , they should teach something beyond that which is useful in job
No placement was provided to me so i can't tell you about that, but I have heard for commerce they do provide placement with good salary package but only to excellent students only and they come to campus every year
It is money worthy and good to see that there are lots of facilities and faculty other than studies , so my money was worth it studying there , the library and sports ground are very nice for that much money
The college was nice and the staff was good too. They were very supportive and help us in many ways so i had a very good campus life and enjoy every bit of my bachelor degree years there , teachers were nice too
Huge College. With own ground for all outdoor sports. One of the few colleages in Mumbai that has its own ground inside the campus. It has two buildings one for management courses like BBA, BBM, BMS etc. and another one has non management courses for example B.com,B.com(Hns), Bsc etc. Canteen with veg and non veg food available as per order. Quality of food is good with proper hygiene and price is very less as compared to others graduation colleges in Mumbai.
From faculty to staff and all the teaching members are really helpful and supportive. Highly educated faculties with impressive educational qualification. Assignment submission needs to be on time. It's a good place for study and Fun.
Mostly companies that comes for placements. They take students from management courses and masters. Companies taking students from non-management courses are less comparatively. Placement percentage of the college collectively is 60-65%.
An absolute value for money. Courses stats at a mere fees of 7500/yr.
The campus life is full of enjoyment and studies. The assignments and tests keep the students occupied. They can study, take part in culture activities etc.
College is bigger than it looks and has very good environment. Every department has there own place there is mixing of department so thats a good thing about it. College has bigger ground for its sport activities.
Quality of teaching is good, teachers are very professional. They help you understanding how the particular thing works and even update what is going on in the world in the field of particular field you are doing.
First of all for bsc biotechnology you do not get placed from any college so it's kind of waste for you to think that certain course can place me at a certain company no it's doesn't work like that and in case you got placed the amount of salary will very low.
Course cost was around 40k/year and it was worth it due the level of teaching and the event use to occur.
It's best feature is every department has there own fest Worst is the support staff
Overall structure the environment and the ambience is good with many activities and events. Talking about canteen its good they dont serve many items its limited but hygiene and the library are very strict related yo studied u can easily concentrate and the laboratory are good and clean with special care taken
According to academics there are various options available and different stream for career development with good knowledge of teachers and the staff and the curriculum is well updated according to the students and new generation with growing confidence and technology among students
The placements they allow are around 80/90 % students to maintain their discipline and average salary starts according to the courses which they select and maybe the highest salary will be in lakhs and its good
According to the course they charged the money and its worth
Campus life is awesome with activities, ground, events and its clean environment and surrounding and the location is very safe, railway station and bus stop are at walking distance so its comfortable for students to travel
Nothing, but overall experience is good with helping staff and teachers
The almost have all the infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classroom have AC, college had decent libraries. There is no such smartboards or wifi in college. The labortories have decent facilities. The living area and food is hygienic.
I studied BSC in Biotechnology and quality of teaching is not so good. The curriculum remains the same almost. The study does no make you job ready and it become very difficult to get job after this degree.
THe pacement quality of the college is wrost. You have to find the job by yourself. The faculty sometime share the job if they get any but it become very difficult to get one. You can expect somewhat between 12-15k per month after this course.
Good infrastructure but old building lot of shooting happen because of old Chandelier, labs are basic but we'll equipped overall good infrastructure nothing to complain the college infrastructure good infrastructure
Good teaching faculty at khalsa all the teachers teach well especially the maths and stats department is good and all the teachers are experienced they teach all the subjects in detail and they also teach the coding subjects
There is no placement in college they don't guide about the placement if you want to do job then you will have to find placement for yourself college doesn't give you any placement or guidance. This is the bad part
Good
The area in which college is spread is not that big. Infrastructure wise it was okay as it is one of the oldest college in Mumbai started before india independence. The laboratory is good for doing science experiments. Hygiene wise college is good.
I done my biotechnology from here. Teaching is great as most of the faculty hold PHD. But the placement is not provided by college. The curriculum updated every year and college attendance is strict you should minimum 75 percent attendance
The placement is not provided by the college. There is such placement committee which is official by the college. You have to find the job on your own but the professor share the opportunity as the get from their end.
According to me, college infrastructure is not really huge though we have all necessary labs and equipment. They are all used regularly and well maintained. Classrooms are well spaced and clean. The college has a canteen too.
The teachers are excellent and there is a mix up of experienced yet young staff that understands the people. Personal attention is given to every student. During covid crisis we were also given digital notes.
I haven't experienced anything as such till now. But my seniors have great packages like 3 lakh per annum. The payment process was easy and pleasant for you. The college is supportive and the placement process is easy.
The course fee is 30,000 per year is worth the knowledge and insights we get. Teachers are experienced and full support is provided. We are made industry ready and we are made to do internships in the third year.
The campus life is awesome! It is filled with activities and different events. The location is very safe and close to station. One can easily find a cab or bus too. The college is also prepared to maintain emergencies.
It is a good college overall. The college life is a balance of both fun and academics. It is a nice learning experience and one can engage in various activities for their growth. If one needs a good college in budget I definitely suggest this one!
The campus has all the necessary laboratories and equipment required for the courses. Everything is fairly maintained. Everything is neat and tidy and the classes have good air ventilation too. The environment is pleasing.
I am currently pursuing Bsc CS in this college. The quality of teaching is pretty impressive. The teachers are well experienced in their respective fields and provide an overall good learning experience.
The quality of the placements has been consistently good. Almost all the deserving candidates have been offered with jobs from the in-campus placements. The average salary is relative to the course choosen.
The fees of every course is reasonable. There are also extra courses and many seminars organised by the college. There are some unnecessary expenses such as purchasing notes. Other than that everything is absolutely worth the fees.
The campus is fairly big. Every department organises their own fest, which means a lot of different activities to partake in. There is very less seating around the campus which is an issue. But the location of the college is easily accessible and every emergency service is also readily available.
All in all its a great experience. Everything is up to the mark as it should be. Many different courses are offered to your liking and over-all experience is very good. In the end it all boils down to how you look at things.
