Hindu College, Delhi, is ranked 1st under the college category, as per the NIRF Ranking 2025.
Hindu college campus is spread over 25 acres with all modern educational and recreational facilities. It has a large auditorium and a seminar hall. It has well-maintained gardens with flooded greeneries in its campus. Hindu College Hostel facilities are available for boys and girls separately.
Teachers here are experts in their respective fields. They are very supportive and helpful to all the students. They are ready to clear all our questions and doubts about any topic. The course curriculum is also very updated and helpful to explore more about the topic.
My course is physics, so there are very less opportunities for placements as most of the students just opt for their PG after this course. However, some students got placements from other courses like commerce and economics. As Hindu is a very good college, it has very good placements.
The college has basic infrastructure like blackboards, clean classrooms, sports complex, bathrooms, labs, and even an elevator. WIFI facility is present but don't work majority of the time. As per my knowledge, the canteen food is hygienic. Can't comment on the living spaces, since I haven't visited the hostel.
I am pursuing B.Com(H). The college & course choice was a spur of the moment decision, but I think it'll only facilitate my journey in the field of consulting by providing me with knowledge in the field of finance & management. Quality of education is variable. Although most of the professors in my department are passionate about teaching, some aren't. Curriculum is outdated and doesn't provide for any practical application of our knowledge, due to which students take up additional courses.
The quality of placements have been average. Although, the placement cell is really active, recruiters somehow prefer the likes of SRCC, LSR and Stephens over Hindu. The highest salary package last year was 31LPA and was bagged by a student of Economics. That seems like a high number for an undergrad student but it was a one off case, and happened after decades.
The fee varies from INR 12000 - 16000, depending on the course. I think the overall experience of academics, societies and general college life has definitely been a value for money.
Life at Hindu has been the best so far. It's a part of the very popular - 'North Campus'. You meet so many different people here. Crowd is just amazing. The annual college fest is the main attraction. You get to enjoy a lot and see the celebrities performing live in front of you, which would not be otherwise possible. There's so much to learn and explore. So many societies and events to join in.
Yes it has good infrastructure, a new underground research centre is in the making. Both girls and boys hostel is available. There are perfect labs and affordable canteen and small shops are available ...
Curriculum is stricly according to delhi university. And faculty is well educated and there is a personal.level relationship between students and teachers............................................................
Very nice placements. The placement cell is really active and even internship cell is also nice and active. People from non professional courses also get placed and highest package is of 30 lakhs and even average package was 6 lakhs.......
It is very cost friendly. Only 17000 per year. The fee is year wise. And even canteen and other food shops are cost friendly . Only living delhi may cost you something good .......................it is totally worth it.
It is in the heart of north campus and you will get all the campus feels and it is completely safe. North campus has its own charm and metro is so near and even major markets and all other colleges are well connected.
Societies are really active and you can there will be overall personality development and extra curricular activities jncluding politics will open new horizons for your creative mind........................
our college have all necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipments . well maintained sports complex , good laboratries library contains huge collection of different type of books , fully air conditioned library and some classes , cafe and canteen provides hygienic food , green campus , ac hostel for girls
i am studying bsc physical sciences electronics and this course in hindu college has less seats, teachers of physics and maths department use to take classes of this course , quality is ok comparing to other colleges of du .our curriculum is updated .
placement options for some courses like statistics, economics, bcom is good but for other courses it is not well, our college placement society helps us to interact with different companies. placement also depends on personal skills and achievement of student.
it cost around 19,000 per year including examination fee , yes we can say we are getting our money's worth as college other than academics provides exposure to many fields via different socities including drama , debating ,quizing ,dancing singing etc.
north campus of du is awesome , various spots to chill, enjoy , walk etc. mant senior teachers lives in college campus , gaurds are coperative . it is a safe location . there is kamal nagar nearby and police station also.
My college's infrastructure is an average one.It is spread in a area of 25 acre. The rooms are average sized with air conditioners in some rooms. There is enough greenery in and around college. There is hostel for both boys and girls within the college.
I'm doing my graduation with physical science(electronics). I'm in 2nd year and till now the curriculum and the academics is quite satisfactory. The teachers are always ready to help and uses all the sources to cope up with the advancement in education of the modern world.
Placements depends on the course. There is usually no placement for the courses in arts, but the courses offering specialization in commerce get quite a high placement. Some courses in science also gets placement.
Yes my college have all infrastructure , facilities and equipment. Classroom library and laboratories is fully air conditioned a big sports ground and in hostel have lots of facilities wifi sports equipments etc and good food in a big mess. Yes they used very well. Yes the living spaces is very clean and food hygienic
I'm studying physical science bcz in this course i have many options to do and i can do other competitions exams also. In a recent developments the new auditorium is almost ready and research centre work is in progess.it will be ready in few months
Good quality of placements and there is a placement cell also. Different placement be done of different course like in b.com course got better placement or salary than others courses. Placement cell of our college doing work very well which gave us better placements.
20275 is my couse fee per year. Yes i feel I'm my money worth bcz in this cover my things like exams fee , clg fests etc.
Campus life is best. Student can do many activities like dancing, debate etc.
My college have all necessary facilities and equipments. Digital classrooms are there, well maintained ac library is here and you will get all importent and necessary books, Well maintained sports complex and Hostel have good wifi service and you will get delicious food in mess.Fully cleaned and spacious campus.
I am studying literature in Hindi language, Friendly and supportive teachers are there. And where supportive teachers you'll get quality of teaching you can guess.Teachers organise different kinds of seminars for extra knowledge.
There is placement cell in our college, which promotes and helps for getting placements for students. You will get involved in extra works and you can do all things for your betterment. So you can improve your skills.
16000 yearly is the cost of our course. I'm not wasting money here because here you will get brightest students from all across the country and you can improve your skills here.
Campus life is good. Our college have some societies for your extra curricular activities like NCC , VAGMI(Hindi debating society) , Placement cell , NSS and many more. Campus is full of greenery.
College has the same iconic red building that other Delhi university college have. The library is well organised and has the latest research edition of all rhe books. A collection of latest research paper of most prestigious organisation also help students to develop interest in related field.Different Laborities are available for different deoartments. Our canteen is famous for hygine and and subsidised prices. The college has a sports complex having two playgrounds , a gym with latest equipment
The faculty is our department is well qualified and well versed wirh curriculum. But the Delhi univeraity curriculum is not relevant and it does not make students industry ready. Faculty members are also very coperative, friendly and hard working.
Pacement in our deartment are not good but that's the case in every college when it comes to B.Sc so you can't blame college for that. whereas placement in commerce department is great Only about 10% students get placed. The average package was 3-4 LPA.
Fests organised in our college are just awesome and are organised around the year. fests act as a break from regular college hustle and get some opportunity to relax. Various socities are present in college which help you to improve your extra curricular record.
It's alright. The wifi access and such could really improve. It's usually controlled by the few into the college politics i.e. The Parliament of Hindu College. Food is decent. The Parliament keeps trying to update the canteen menus and such. There's always Pam Cafe but that's a little costlier.
Academics are completely up to date and top notch. The teachers are always there for you. The most updated material is used and if going for economics then heads up it's one of the most challenging course of the university.
Most of the people who sat for placements this year got placed, the quality has improved drastically. The highest package went upto 31LPA (offered). Average I'd say be around 6 LPA. Yeah the process was easy enough and the cell is always there to help you. This is really easy here.
My course costed only 15k annum, ofcourse its worth it. It's barely anything for a graduation course. But at times I felt some infrastructural facilities could have been better.
Yeah the campus life is fun, but that's more of an individual thing than college. But yeah at Hindu you'll find all kinds of groups as Groupism here a mandatory scene. And I was uncool with it but other than that if you end up finding interests say even through various college societies it's fun. There are all sorts of societies. The location is cool. Campus is more or less safe.
It's been a fun and learning experience. Kudos!
Hindu college has the biggest campus among DU colleges. Hindu college has very good infrastructure and it has all required facilities that a student requires. There are Air conditioned classrooms in some departments. Overall the infrastructure is good.
Hindu college has one of the best faculty in Delhi univesity who are really experienced and helpful . The professors are very puntual and are regular in their classes. The teaching method are innovative . They respond very positively to queries.
Placements are also good but it mostly depends upon the department. Students in Commerce department get great offers during placement but other department lag behind in this criteria but still the average package offered in all departments are one of the highest packages offered in DU.
YES.
The campus life of Delhi university can't be compared to other universities,it is just amazing .It is unique , conducive and safe.
