I am pursuing B.Sc. Physical Science with Chemistry at Hindu College, University of Delhi. The academic environment is generally good and structured. Teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, although the workload is comparatively lighter than honours courses. The curriculum follows the new NEP framework, which is still evolving, but it provides interdisciplinary exposure. Overall, academics are balanced, with scope for self-learning and improvement.

Placements at Hindu College vary depending on the course. For science and non-professional courses, placement opportunities are limited compared to professional colleges. However, the college does offer internships, career guidance sessions, and skill-development programs. Many students prefer higher studies, research, or competitive exams. The placement cell is active, but students mostly rely on their own preparation and external opportunities.

Hindu College offers excellent value for money. The fee structure is affordable compared to the quality of education, faculty, and campus facilities provided. Being a central university college, it gives students strong academic exposure at a reasonable cost. Access to libraries, societies, and reputed faculty makes the overall experience worth the money. For students seeking quality education at low cost, it is a good choice.

I am pursuing an Eco Hons from Hindu College. The faculty is very supportive, and the quality of teaching is also very good, with strong academic exposure. But not all the classrooms have AC. The number of department classes can be increased, and sports can also be improved.

The placement at Hindu is good, with the highest package reaching INR 36.05 LPA. But there is one major drawback that several opportunities remain limited to the placement cell and do not reach all students.
