    The college experience is good.

    College Infrastructure

Hindu college infrastructure is not good currently, Because there is construction work going on there. The work is going past 2 years. It is not completed. Also there is no boys hostel it is still in construction for last 2 years. Also the girls hostel contains high fee because of private one.

    Academics

We don't have good systems in our lab. At the time of examination we all suffer because of that. Also the some professors are very rude character. We have a good and large library for refer our papers. we have wifi facilities also. And the syllabus is good and updated one.

    Placements

We have a good placements in the college . The highly reputed companies will come to hire students for placements. And the placement cell in the college will helps students to get internships and help them to build their cv and resume. And the teachers will also helps students to get placed.

    Value for Money

We have 19000 rupees per year . The fees is depends upon the course.

    Campus Life

The campus life is good at Hindu college. They will organize so many programes.

An important chapter of my life.

    College Infrastructure

Hindu college is one of the good colleges in delhi University having best infrastructure starting from very basic to top level such good washrooms, three lawns always neat and tidy ,the college has good labs also .

    Academics

I'm doing my graduation in bsc (h) statistics.tue quality of teaching here is good but the entire syllabus is theory oriented which opens a door for reasearch and teaching but not for coperate jobs for that we need work on our skills provided help will be given.

    Placements

Hindu college has a great record of placements among the colleges of University of Delhi. For our department itself our seniors have acquired good positions with good packages in the beginning itself..

    Value for Money

The entire fees for my course will 60,000( including three years) the other expenses may vary according to person to person.

    Campus Life

The college provides a good atmosphere for the students to enjoy their college life.there are various societies in which students can be a member and sharpen their skills and grow and these societies will also help students to be better individuals and sometime in placements also.

    College Infrastructure

Yes, Campus is having a really good atmosphere with a lot of facilities. There are two canteen and most actually have a decent menu with average above hygiene and we also got a sports complex which is pretty much well maintained .The labs and laboratories are also much better.

    Academics

I'm studying B.Sc Statistics Honors and the teaching and training is pretty much good as compared to many other college I've seeen eventhough there are some mistreatment from teachers on students based on geographical region. I guess the curriculum is pretty much high quality and there are a lot of topics which makes us more knowledgeable to this course

    Placements

The hight ig is 29 lpa.Placements depend on your course. But most of my batch mates did very well and got offered placements with good salaries in some of the best companies in Delhi. Your chances are definitely higher if you are studying economics, maths, b.comm or in the science stream.

    Value for Money

It cost around 20k per year. Yes ig the money's worth.

    Campus Life

As i mentioned earlier there is a very high problem of mistreatment and partiality. I'm not sure about other dept but for mine it is clearly visible. So apart from the teaching side and facility the campus life is on ? students is showered upon with lot of freedom compared to other colleges

My 2 year experience from Hindu College

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college has necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment which would suit the needs of the students. But I believe that the college has a scope of improvement, in the field of Infrastructure. I believe that the college might be able to bring about a change in the current infrastructure, through the renovation works held at present. The college has a brand new academic block and an excellent reasearch centre, only opened recently.

    Academics

I am studying B.Sc Hons. Statistics, with an aim to pursue masters in data science. I strongly believe that the curriculum taught to us, in severely insufficient, from a job-readiness pov. The course itself is very cumbersome and includes portions from various concepts in maths and statistics. I strongly believe that an updation in the curriculum is inevitable, considering the current world needs.

    Placements

The college has its own placement cell, which is quite excellent. Out of all my seniors who just graduated, only a few got placed. The highest package was that of a consultant firm, called Accenture. I don't actually remember the placenta lpa and other stuff. I think the college is supportive of placement, but I have heard that the average package, is around 9 lpa.

    Value for Money

The tution fee is only around 20,000 for an entire year. I feel that I am getting my money's worth.

    Campus Life

Like any du college, studies are an integral part of a student's life, in my college. The college also hosts various programmes and sessions for all the pupil, which aim at the development of an individual, at many levels. Students can engage in many activities, like participating in various clubs and societies and getting enrolled for sports. Personally, I feel that the development in sports, in Hindu College is quite unsatisfactory and the department of physical education is also not upto mark

    Great

    College Infrastructure

All the necessary equipment are provided by the college. The science labs can be considered state of the art. Wifi can be a problem on campus sometimes. Living space and food is great at the hostels but if you have to opt for a pg then you shoul remember that pgs aer pgs only.

    Academics

Most teachers here are very experienced and erudite. The university can be pretty sloppy in conducting the exams or giving out the results but you will never have any complaint about the college. It is up to you how much you want to learn.

    Placements

Depends on your course but even if you dont have the most corporately attractive course you will have the chance to buil yourself a great CV and orient yourself for a great corporate career. The placement cell here will try its best.

    Value for Money

The exposure and the variety of opportunities here mane for a great deal. Moreover the crowd here is excellent.

    Campus Life

Vibrant campus life filled with events and diversity. This is the very center kf the university of delhi. In a way college really begins outside the classes.

    Placements

Placements of the college are very good. 70% of placements are provided to students which is a good point. Average package is of 8 lakh per annum and highest is 30 lakh per annum . Packages provided are also good

    College Infrastructure

Absolutely amazing place with tons of growth opportunities. The infrastructure it at par with modern standards. Only a few things are off like the gym or that not all classes have projectors. Wifi is there. Living spaces with the hostels of the college are great. The boys hostel though is not currently operating.

    Academics

It's a philosophy degree what do you expect. Combining it with the attendance requirements of the NEP, it's not that great. Some teacher are great but not all. All teacher try their best to teach but many of them just do not a have the core of teacher.

    Placements

The place cell is good enough but many of the courses like Philosophy are had to place. They contac companies from across the market. Although only a few industry leader look this way but still many big firms with large packates come.

    Value for Money

The only time when you have to pay a lot is the first year if are living in a PG. The college fees are low.

    Campus Life

    Vibrant, diverse and dynamic.

    College Infrastructure

The college has continuously growing infrastructure facilities. All classes are equipped with smartboards and wifi is also provided by the college in certain areas. The college also has interdisciplinary research centre, sports complex and well maintained girls hostel. The college is currently revamping the library and boys hostel they are also building a new faculty building. The college has 2 state of the art auditoriums,an amphitheatre and numeroua seminar and conference halls.

    Academics

I am studying political science because I am quite interested in the subject. The college being one of the top humanities colleges in India has distinguished teaching faculty. The curriculum is often updated according to the needs of the time.Acoording to the New educational policy my juniors are able to get more practical learning.Unfortunately it does not apply to my batch and our knowledge seldom makes us ready for the job market

    Placements

The college has dedicated internship and placement cell. Many students from commerce and science background are able to get attractive job offers yet sadly the same could not be said to humanities students

    Value for Money

The course costed me ₹17500 per year but now for my juniors the fees has been increased to more than ₹23000. I felt that I have been able to get my money's worth because I have been able to be part of a very interactive environment with distinguished faculties, alumnis and lots of societies (clubs) made to develop me to the best

    Campus Life

Our college has an extremely vibrant campus culture. The college has more than 30 societies (clubs) which are devoted to different fields and they conduct regular sessions .They help in socialization and in developing particular interests in the students. The college is normally supportive of the societies and our societies are famous throughout the du circuit. However the constant work pressure, nepotism and hierarchy in many societies often make them toxic

    Academics

I'm pursuing BA Hons Political Science. As Hindu College is no 1 for arts and science college in India and holds rank 2 overall the nation , many students from different parts of the nation is studying here. The facilities are much experienced and interactive. For getting admission here for political science honours you must get 100% in your 12th grade. It's highly competitive and also you will explore many curricular as well as extra curricular activities in college.

    Placements

As Hindu College stands the 2nd rank, the placements is also high. Many top most companies offer placements for the students. As this reason many students are trying to get admission here . Also most of my seniors got placements in various companies in their last academic years itself.

    Value for Money

As a 2nd year student I'm paying 17k per year, which include fees like library, academic, extra curricular etc. For me the money is worth.

    Campus Life

Joining various societies and working with them is an extra experience that you will only get from college. The college is having various societies which we can choose accordingly and there are some selection criterias also. The entire campus life is much happier and enjoying. Making new friends and exploring new things is the main attraction I got from this college.
