HCAS Chennai facilities are offered to assist students in their academic and co-curricular development. The college Hostels in academic institutions are the epicenter of the dynamics of campus life. Rules and Regulations :
No woman student should be entertained in the men's hostel.
Cleanliness should be maintained in the hostel.
All the students must carry their hostel and college ID cards at all times
All the occupants of a room are equally responsible for any damage, loss of furniture, etc., and in such events, the cost will be recovered through a collective fine.
Students are not allowed to stay in the hostels during the college hours without any valid reason/permission from their respective Warden / Hostel Manager, or Head of the Department.
Ragging in any form is not permitted. If any student is found engaged in any kind of ragging activities, he/she will be expelled from the college immediately.
Study hours are from 8.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m., during which time the door of the room must be left open (except for A/C rooms).

The college runs a full-fledged clinic which takes care of the students’ health and hygiene. Periodic medical examinations and vaccinations are provided for the staff and students through Smart Vision Diabetes Clinic, which is the sister concern of the college.
The college has a Gym facility for the students.
The college takes pride in a well-stocked library enriched with numerous textbooks and reference books. The library brings forth knowledge-based services like reference, N-LIST, Internet browsing, and E-services. The Central library is automated using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Library Management System (LMS) to carry out its routine operations and is secured with CCTV. Library staff assist the faculty and students in fulfilling the thirst of the users' academic quests. National and international journals have been subscribed to enrich the staff and students' research activities.
The College has well-established playgrounds and infrastructure for sports and games. Our students are divided into Four Houses; each house consists of a mixed equal number of students from every department, year, and class. The Physical Education department organizes several sports and games competitions for these Four Houses, to motivate the students to participate in various inter-collegiate, inter-university, and open tournaments. Our College has exemplary basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, kho kho [girls and boys], kabbadi, and martial arts teams.
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
The college has a well-maintained and hygienic canteen called Sea View canteen, which is functioning on the campus. We know the importance of good nutrition for young adults, so the campus canteen is operated by experienced catering professionals. They serve the student community a wide range of delicious snack varieties of beverages, North Indian and South Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and meals, keeping with standard safety measures. Snacks during the break time are also served at the Yummeez canteen.
The college has a 400-seater AC auditorium called Newton Hall and a Seminar hall with a PA system facilitating various symposiums, seminars, and academic programmes. MGR hall can accommodate around 1000 members to conduct college functions and programmes on a larger scale.
The college has Bus facility is offered by the college to all distant routes, covering all the city points. Comfortable air-conditioned buses are available. A fleet of buses is plying from all nooks and corners of the city for the benefit of students and staff. The services of buses are also utilized for industrial visits and excursions.
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
The college provides banking facilities for the staff and the students through Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) with an ATM, which is housed inside the campus, enabling the students to make transactions.

The college has a departmental store available on the campus where the students can purchase toiletries, medicines, snacks, notebooks, and materials. It is open from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
The college has club facilities, such as the Citizen Consumer Club (CCC), which was established to spread awareness about consumer rights amongst all consumer segments and to help consumers get justice when affected.

The college has various events where students can participate, and also has NCC and NSS facilities available for the students.
The Training and Placement Cell of Hindustan College of Arts & Science has been at the forefront in bringing about exciting job opportunities for all courses. It acts as a nodal point of contact for companies to identify the future workforce from HCAS. The Placement Cell has been striving hard to get employment for students in reputed companies during their final year of study; this has resulted in students turning into employees right out of their college life and smiling at their parents’ faces as their dreams come true.
Campus is decent, bigger than my city colleges. classrooms are spacious with fans, lights. the computer labs are well-equipped with enough systems for everyone and they usually work fine. there's a decent library with MCA books.
Campus was wifi enabled and had projectors in all the classrooms. Sports facilities were good and library and laboratories were well maintained. Hostel and food provided were just about average and prepared hygienically.
Yes, My college have all necessary infrastructure facilities. We have big library and laboratories in each block. The non teaching staffs will clean every day morning and evening. The foods from our canteen is good and taste good.
