For admission in government medical college in Karnataka the seats are divided into two quotas

All India Quota 15%

State Quota 85 %

Further the state Quota is divided in categories of General, OBC, SC and ST

Hence there is no such rural category quota

You have not mentioned your category assuming that you that belong to general category you need to score 580 or above marks to have decent chances of getting seat in a GMC through counselliing considering 2018 cut off trends or if you belong to any reserved category you score

See medical and ai are two different things but certainly you can do the course of it online offline or any medium..

But still medical course is not that easy that you can manage both at time,

So I would suggest to either complete medical first then go

Vishal, Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. The only State with an exception is Karnataka because Karnataka is an Open State.
