Bachelor of Arts Honours in English is a three-year full-time course offered by University of Delhi, Delhi.
The Department of English at Indraprastha College is one of the oldest in the College. Given its history, the Department has been closely involved in the growth of the College and the Universit, and has contributed consistently to their academic and cultural life. Home to pioneering intellectuals and path-breaking scholarship and activism in the past, the Department strives to consolidate and maintain this legacy, and holds itself to high standards in academic performance and social responsibility.
We pride ourselves in having continually engaged with questions of socially inclusive teaching and with the disparities marking access to higher education in India, which ultimately reflect larger social inequalities. Our approach to teaching is therefore strongly learner-centric to accommodate her special needs. At the same time, the Department has a history of academic excellence which is in evidence in the consistently good results of our students and in the high number of our alumnae who pursue higher studies in core and allied disciplines. It is at the intersection of these different pedagogical imperatives that we find our unique calling as an English department of the University of Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

A student must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

My colleges is good but not very excellent .

College Infrastructure

Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment but it lacks in sports field making the girls of college weak in above field. In classrooms AC is not there but in laboratories libraries and sports centre in hostels they all have Wi-Fi smart boards.yes they are well maintain and all the living species are clean and food hygiene.

The college is decent. You can go for better options though.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is decent. There is a large lawn, canteen and the heritage building is beautiful. But there aren't much sport facilities available and the condition of sports room is also not good. It is equipped with a library which Also has an AC. The wifi is not good.

The college is good and a solid 7 on 10.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure wise this college is the best in whole DU. Situated in North campus, the college has that regal look to it with British infra as well. It has all the basic requirements a college require including wifi, libraries, classrooms and hygiene is also maintained well.
