Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mathematics is a three-year full-time course offered by University of Delhi, Delhi.
Mathematics has been a part of Indraprastha College for Women since 1933. It was only undergraduate course at pass course level from 1933 to 1948 with the only faculty member Mr. G. Goswami. Later in 1954 college started B.A.(Hons) in Mathematics and four years after this M.A. in Mathematics was also introduced.
Our students meet stupendous success in diverse fields ranging from teaching to serving MNCs. Students are encouraged to develop their computational skills, critical and analytical thinking,problem-solving skills which are very important to compete in 21st century era dominated by computers and global economy facing enormous unprecedented challenges coupled with opportunities. Mathematics Academic Society: 'TRIJYA' is a platform for students to exhibit their talents beyond academics extending to developing organisational and management skills besides providing an opportunity to interact with outside world.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate passed in the higher secondary examination (10+2) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as major subjects in science stream from any recognized board.

College Infrastructure

The library is the best place to go in the college. The entire 2-storey building is the place that gives solace. It is the only college after SRCC that has its own swimming pool. The new academic block rooms are comparatively bigger to accommodate more people.

College Infrastructure

First of all the college campus is extremely beautiful and is very spacious, all the facilities are available, the college also has a separate ground for sports , there is canteen too for good food and beverages , classrooms and labs are also well equipped, so overall the infrastructure of the college is nice.

In brief it is a good college with a beautiful environment

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is amazing with all the facilities being provided , the campus is spacious and is very pleasant to the eyes , there is a separate playground and so many plants too , classrooms and labs are well equipped and are nicely constructed. Overall the college has good infrastructure
