IBM Kolkata Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has spacious, well-ventilated, AC classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements and projector facilities in all the rooms. Presently we are in the process of converting our classrooms into “smart” classrooms.

The college has library, equipped with modern high-speed computers, latest software along printers, has an excellent collection of books and journals – over 11000 books of 2640 titles. The library subscribes to around 45 journals, both national and international, in addition to e-journals and business databases. The library is fully air-conditioned with adjoining spacious well-illuminated reading rooms with a comfortable seating arrangement for 60 students. There are a separate reference section and a room for consultation. The library is designed to be an open access system. A photocopying facility for students is also located in the library.

The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students. The institute is equipped with state of the art computer facilities with two Computer Laboratories comprising more than 80 nodes in LAN, high speed internet & wifi.

The Institute’s AC auditorium, Indumati Sabhagriha, has a capacity for 200 guests. All the events and seminars are conducted in the auditorium.

The college has computer facilities include 60 nodes with two servers connected with a LAN with high-speed Internet. Faculty and students have access to 80 computers including laptops for teaching, learning, and project-related activities. In addition, the library is also equipped with modern high-speed computers along with printers.

The college has sports facilities for all students. There are various indoor and outdoor sports facilities for the students’ physical fitness.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. The cafeteria is hygienic and provides food at a reasonable price.

The college has a health centre with a first aid facility for the students. In case of any emergency, students can reach out for help in the campus itself.

The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
