The Iqbal Institute of Technology and Management (IITM), at Srinagar, is a reputed private institute in Jammu and Kashmir. It provides several undergraduate and postgraduate programs connected to computer applications and business studies. The application process for Iqbal Institute of Technology and Management, Srinagar, varies for different programs:

For BCA and BBA Programs:

1. Applicants must complete their 10+2 from a recognized board of education.

3. Submission of filled application forms along with required documents like 10th and 12th mark sheets, character certificate, and other relevant certificates.
4. For BBA, merit would be based on the 12th class board/CBSE marks.

For MBA program:

3. This process will be taken care of by the University of Kashmir.
4. Candidates would be shortlisted based on the newest CMAT scores obtained.
5. Finalization of admission will be by the University of Kashmir.

For MCA program:

1. Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
2. Candidates must appear for an Entrance Test conducted by the University of Kashmir.
3. Forms of application and other information are generally available from the University of Kashmir's website.
4. Thereafter, selection is conducted by the University of Kashmir concerning the entrance test.

Degree-wise Admission Process

BCA (Bachelor in Computer Application): The admission procedure for BCA in IITM is based on merit. Although there is no particular informality regarding admission procedure, most probably, the selection will be made on the marks obtained in 12th standard regarding subjects pertinent to computer applications.

BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration): Merit-based admission is followed by IITM with regard to admission for BBA. The major concern for the candidate's selection seems to be on the candidate's performance in the 12th class board examinations (CBSE or state board). This way, students with previous strong academic backgrounds are rewarded.

MBA (Master in Business Administration): The method of admission into the MBA program at IITM is competitive based on the CMAT score. Eligible applicants are screened through their CMAT performance, while the University of Kashmir prepares the final list of selects for this program.

MCA (Masters of Computer Applications): For the MCA program, IITM retains entrance test as the process of admission. Eligible candidates are required to appear for an Entrance Test conducted by the University of Kashmir. Students will then be selected for admission through university performance in this entrance exam.
