Hello Avinash,

I would like to say that, in any institute you may study, because every institutes have their own way of teaching, this is my view about institutes but if you want to know that which is better, then you should ask the individuals who is or who was studying in that institute.
You should focus on yourself and your study.

Thanks for query on this platform, you may visit again for further queries.

All the best.

Yes, you can get direct admission in IFIM but you need to contact the official only they can guide you.

The Institute of Finance and International Management, Bangalore is has a fee of Rs. 12L. The average package for PGDM goes upto 7.20L and the highest package happens to be Rs. 14.70L.
I dont feel the highest package would have been offered to a fresher it should be someone with some industry experience (though it depends). According to me if a student is an average the Return on Investment doesn't seem to be that good since you are almost paying a sum of Rs. 12L and the average package ranges down to Rs. 7.5L.
As per the passouts, the college does a good job in improving the overall personality of the student and it is also a good name in the industry since 1995.

Hello,

NO, ifim does not aceepts CMAT score. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of a valid score in CAT/GMAT. Hence, if you want to take admission in the said college you shoild have taken CAT or CMAT.

2nd week of april or 2nd week of May you can choose any of the two for admission selection process if you can January admission oricess date.

Hi Swati,

In 2017-18, the CAT cut-off for admission to Great Lakes University was apprximately 80%. Though the cut-off may vary (increase/decrease) this year, it will not be more than +/- 10%. However, there is no one fixed cut-off and neither cut-off is not the only criteria, work-experience, academic record, essays, etc are together considered for a hollistic evaluation. You can expect a call if you have fared exceptionally well in the other factors (mentioned above). To know more about CAT Cut-Offs keep reading Careers 360 using the link given below:

Thanks,

You will defenetly get a call for GD and PI from XIME , their cut off is 75 percentile and above and graduation cut off is 50% and above(45% for SC/ST students).

Hello !

However for MBA top colleges in Bangalore are IIMB and XIME.As you are interested about PGDM at IFIM I would like to explain you about that.

->first part IFIM is completely different from other B-schools  the syllabus followed there is Harvard B-school

-> you have to keep your efforts to get a good result.More importance is given to personalitt development

-> Faculty at IFIM are good.

-> the avg package vary from 6-7L per annum

-> it ranks somewhere around 10 in Karnataka

This info is collected from the students at IFIM

If you are looking for a decent college then IFIM is good and the choice is yours.

Good luck!

Hello !weolco wto careers 360.

IFIM Bangalore is a little different one when compared with other b schools.it focus mostly on personal development.the placements are good avg package is 6-7L per annum.it is ranked around 50.

Talking about BIMM it's an good institute ranked around 50 for MBA in2017 by business today.850+students vere hired in campus placements.

Both of them can be given equal priority.

Good luck!

Hi Aspirant,
The cutoff of IFIM,Bangalore usually exceeds 70 percentile in CAT.
So,with 30 percentile,it is almost no way to get into ifim,Bangalore.
Hope this helps.

IFIM is excellent for Finance as Faculty is amazing and so is learning methodology .

Onky PGDM is equally good which civers strong exposure to general management.

Placements wise around 75% and average package is 6lpa which is decent enough.

Cokkege also provides nearly 95% internships for both PGDM and Finance.
