KMC is a deemed university ,all seats in central and deemed universities are also open to all the candidates who qualify NEET 2019. DGHS is the counselling authority for Deemed and Central universities as well, similar to AIQ.  To apply for MBBS/BDS seats in the same, you will need to fill a separate application form for Deemed and Central Universities counselling as released by the DGHS.

• Registration & Choice Filling by candidates on https://mcc.nic.in
• Online counseling & Seat allotment by DGHS
• Reporting to the institute
• Done on the basis of neet scores only
• Follow above steps for admission to kmc
• If your neet scores are above kmc cut off for the particular year,you will need to attend kmc counseling and confirm your seat

As per last year cutoff for KMC manglore starting rank was 1652 and closing rank was 750080 under general category so there are decent chances of getting the college your chances may also increase with category. But it is difficult to tell you sureshot chances as cutoff changes every year.

Seeing previous year cuttoff of KMC ,you seems to have little chance of getting seat in KMC through state quota.You may get through state quota.Otherwisw not.

Hello Rabina,

Your score is too low for getting admission in medical colleges under government quota. If you want to study mbbs better you can try for private colleges under management quota or deemed universities. But the only thing is fees will be more.

Hello Ramesan, congratulations for your son on scoring 547 marks in NEET 2019. Kasturba Medical college cutoff lies in the range of 520-560 marks in NEET as per last year statistics. The NEET UG 2018 cutoff  marks of KMC ,mangalore for general category are 482 . And this year due to large competition and increase in topper's marks , the cutoffs are likely to increase . So , in order to be on a safer side to get admission in this college , a student must have a  minimum score of 500. But you have probably no chances if getting a seat here .But with this score , you have chabces to get into the following colleges of west bengal :

• KPC Medical College and Hospital, Jadavpur
• Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Kolkata
• IQ City Medical College and Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Durgapur
