The selection process/criteria for KMC is either NEET or KCET, so you need to have qualifying scores in either of the exams to be able to get admission in the institute.

The eligibility criteria is however 50% marks in 10+2 with PCB/biotech with English core.

You need to check last years cut off in order to see if your rank falls into the range on the basis of which they took admission last year. You didn't mention your marks and category so I cannot tell you anything with authority right now.

Kasturba medical college is a private unaided medical college and you have a vary good chance of getting admission in it.

Last year, a candidate scoring 494 also got KMC, Manipal under management qouta.

The highest marks in the pool of 250 students who got KMC was 598

KMC is a deemed university ,all seats in central and deemed universities are also open to all the candidates who qualify NEET 2019. DGHS is the counselling authority for Deemed and Central universities as well, similar to AIQ.  To apply for MBBS/BDS seats in the same, you will

• For  MANIPAL CAMPUS,   cutoff goes 480
• For MANGALORE CAMPUS, cutoff goes 468

As per last year cutoff for KMC manglore starting rank was 1652 and closing rank was 750080 under general category so there are decent chances of getting the college your chances may also increase with category. But it is difficult to tell you sureshot chances as cutoff changes

Seeing previous year cuttoff of KMC ,you seems to have little chance of getting seat in KMC through state quota.You may get through state quota.Otherwisw not.

Hello Rabina,

Your score is too low for getting admission in medical colleges under government quota. If you want to study mbbs better you can try for private colleges under management quota or deemed universities. But the only thing is fees will be more.
