KCT Engineering College, Gulbarga, is a well-known college for engineering aspirants. The institution offers B. Tech courses under four specialisations and has a streamlined admission process largely based on the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). KCT Engineering College admission cycle generally follows the KCET schedule.

KCT Engineering College B.Tech Admission Process

The college offers four B.Tech programmes with a total intake of 210 seats. KCT Engineering College's admission process for all B.Tech programmes is primarily through KCET. The programmes and their respective intakes are:

  • B.Tech Civil Engineering (60 seats)
  • B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (60 seats)
  • B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats)
  • B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering (30 seats)

For all B.Tech programmes, candidates eligible for admission except the P.U.E. Board and C.B.S.E. exam passed in Karnataka are required to obtain an eligibility certificate from the concerned college. Also, candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, or Computer Science are admitted directly into the 3rd semester of respective branches under the lateral entry quota through Karnataka CET.
