The college had a good infrastructure and students were provided with facilities like AC and water cooler. Also the students who were selected for different sports teams of the college were given nutritious diet daily in the morning after practice. Cleaning staff use to come daily and the campus as well as the grounds were cleansed daily.
I was enrolled in B.com and the teaching staff was very good and even the teachers were so qualified that students of different colleges use to come and attend classes in our institute. Yes the curriculum is always updated in the institute and subjects like environmental science and sustainable development are taught in the course which is the need of the hour.
The placements committee plays a vital role in the institute and they maintain liaison with the corporate world and brought good companies like EY, DE Shaw and ICICI for the placements drive. The highest package for our course was 2200000 p.a. and the average salary for the batch was 800000
The course costed us around 11000 per year and yes ofcourse it is a value for money because it gave us so much exposure in different fields and gave experience of the working of corporate world through the working of different clubs and committees.
The campus life of the colleges in North Campus is very good and students can participate in different intra and inter college activities and students of one college can go the fest of other college and proper safety of students is also ensured.
Overall my experience at Kirori Mal College was very good and if i were able to go in past then definitely i would love to again relive my college life at KMC
Honestly telling, the overall infrastructure is really good. Classrooms are well ventilated. Laboratories are well maintained with all the necessary equipment. Hostels are hygienic and well furnished (although the rooms are compact). Library provides you with sufficient books to read, and with proper spacious reading rooms. The living spaces and washrooms are well maintained and hygienic. You may find the college canteen a little bit messy, but the food there is worth eating.
I can't tell for the rest of the courses, but as I have pursued Mathematics hons. from Kirori Mal College, professors are really great. They have this talent that how to teach students in the best possible manner. Academic pressure is not so high here. You can manage other extracurricular activities along with your studies.
I don't know much about placements, but as per my knowledge and if I talk about the placement scenario according to my seniors, it is pretty good here, if you gather enough skills to get placed in a company. Staff here is good, and they cooperate to provide us with good placement facilities.
Let me share my experience. I really miss my college life a lot after graduation. That Ashoka lawn, Canteen lawn, the college corridor, we used to roam and sit at these places after our classes or during a break in between the classes. We made many memories. Greenery inside the college can steal your heart. Teachers are really supportive and friendly. You can participate in societies, such as Theatre, music, dance. Location is decent and can handle emergencies. You can make lifelong friends here
My college has all the available facilities but they are not well maintained to that extent. Library is under construction and sports room don't have much equipment. Wifi dont work properly and bathrooms are not hygienic.
This college is known for its academic reputations. Study curriculum is outdated but still it provides sufficient knowledge and insights about the courses offered. Government led projects are also handled by the faculties.
Placements are fine and packages also are average not so good. For B.sc. courses only voluntary placements were there. But for other courses like B.A. and all they provide normal placements. As for packages around 13-14 lakhs was there.
My college has really good infrastructure and all the facilities needed for education purpose is available. Classrooms are well-lit, ventilated, spacious and well-equipped. library, labs, hostels and sports centres have wi-fi facilities and good services. Food here is also hygienic, cheap and tasty.
Teachers here are very nice and student friendly. Curriculum is not so much updated, but this college is known for its educational services, knowledgeable teachers and sincere studying environment and reputation.
Placements at the college is fine, neither good nor bad. As for B.Sc. course, it was voluntary to sit for placements but for B.Com and other courses placement is there. College is supportive towards placement processes and tries to prepare its students for the placements at their best.
Course fees was very less as compared to other colleges. My course costed around 14000 per year and the knowledge received was very useful and worth the money. The services provided by the college, degree and the wisdom are worth much more than the fees they charge.
I enjoyed my campus life very much. It is full of friends, fun, elections, enjoyment, parties and much more.
Except wifi, college have all necessary infrastructure like hostel, sport complex, libraries. Apart from this canteen is too good, hygienic with reasonable price. Hostel seat are very limited and only hostel facility is available for boys only.
I am studying B.A in Economics Houours. Faculties are too supportive and help you in every aspect. College offers programme in arts, commerce and science equiped with good laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology
Placement opportunities for B.com, Economics, and Statistics student are pretty decent. Many top MNC, like bain and company, Deloitte, D E Shaw etc hire candidates from campus for roles like consulting, analyst etc.
Yes obviously value for money. Roi is decent as compared to fees.
Campus Life is amazing in KMC. There are lots of society which you can join. Faculties are too supportive.
Overall College life is too good. KMC is one of the top college of North Campus, DU. In 2023, under CUET, maximum no of student showed their interest for KMC left behind other top colleges. So, you can imagine the popularity of college.
Yes the college provides all the necessary facilities. And everything is perfectly maintained . The people in the administrative section are very cooperative and you can get your work done in some time only. The library , classrooms everything is at the level best
Quality of teaching is really nice, gets you job-ready. Can easily approach teachers in case you need any guidance from them. The curriculum is updated and includes the recent developments in the course.
Not have that much info about that. But ig their placement cell is nice. Since it's among the best colleges of Delhi University. Opportunities are given there, you just have to grab them. AVG salary depends on the course you have chosen and how much the field is growing at present.
The course is a two year course...and cost almost 13k per year. It's worth theo money spent
A safe beautiful college. Not have that much knowledge since classes are held in the department of physics and astrophysics
The administrative section is well maintained.
• my college had all the necessary infrastructure which is required for a student. •classrooms were all good , the 2 floor library had all the resources which we needed ; only boys hostel was there !! Everything was well maintained.
• I pursued B.Com from KMC. The quality of teaching was excellent, some of the faculty members made learning so easy that there lectures were enough in building understanding for any concept. •The curriculum also was according to the course and yes it definitely made us job ready.
• Placements in the college or I can in the whole Delhi University's North campus is a fluent procedure , there are many societies and placement cells which makes it easy for a student to establish contact with big firms with proper training.
Definitely studying in KMC was a value for money deal , as it was a state sponsored college our fee for the whole course was really marginal ,which I can say really helps those who really wanted to get quality education at a minimum price .
• campus life was all good ; we had the liberty of visiting any college of Delhi University . The aura of the campus was very very much student friendly. • the location was in North Delhi , overall it was a happy place.
I think I've mentioned all the necessary things about the college . The life there was very much in our support and also it made us ready for the life ahead . Getting educated from a decent college proves to be fruitful for us. It's just the decency gets tested a lot of times.
Yes....the college have all the facilities and best infrastructure... In our classrooms and various activities center.... availability of Ac and best air conditioner...wifi , projector and hygiene are there....
I'm pursuing bachelor's from life science and quality of teaching is outstanding....every teacher clearify topic very easily....yes all the curriculum is updated time to time...And libraries are also very good
In every year.... our college got the best performance in placement.... many students got the letter for placement...in various fields...in every year I think 70 percent got placed and other one move for their masters and all ....I don't know about the highest packages....
13k
From the point of view ...it is very outstanding and best in all scenarios
Yes college has good infrastructure. Classrooms have fans, tubelights and projectors . Library is recently renovated, it has air conditioner and comfortable seats . Computer labs are also renovated and new devices are also installed , also they are fully air conditioned , Canteen is good, have good food atresonable price.
I am studying B.Sc.(Hons.) Mathematics from Kirori Mal College of Delhi University. It seem interesting to me that's why I choose this subject. KMC has one of the best faculty in Delhi University . It offers around 20 under graduation courses. Curriculum is updated regularly and they try to include all recent developments. They also support in research work.
According to college website, 135+ companies offered an average of 6.5 lacs per year package. Around 130 students are placed until now and in 20 - 21 a company offered maximum package, which was around 19 lacs per annum. Average package is around 5 lacs per annum
My course costs around 13-15 k per year. My college is fully under Government so fees is quite affordable. Many colleges are semi government in D.U. , so they have fees around 20 - 30 k. Yes , I am getting my money's worth.
KMC is in North Campus, it is a student area as it has many colleges . KMC 's back gate opens at Kamla Nagar Market .Many students live there in PG's as well . Campus is green , location is safe .Regular PCR's are on rounds . Accommodation is quite expensive near colleges
The college infrastructure is great . It has almost all the necessary facilities such as air conditioned library with working wifi. Classroom desks are of great quality and well maintained and the campus is very clean . The food is also good.
I am studying bcom because I want to build my career in finance background. The quality of teaching method is very good and the classes held regularly, on time always. The curriculum is up to date and it is on the college official website as well .
Placements are so good. Average package offered by the college is 9 LPA . Almost 80% of Placements are provided , that is a good point and the packages offered are also good . The highest package is upto 20 LPA.
