Kongu School of Architecture, Erode Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Kongu School of Architecture (KSA) in the city of Erode, Tamil Nadu, is an associated college that handles studies in architecture. The institute has a centralized admission process for its Bachelor of Architecture course, which is currently the sole course offered.

The admissions process in Kongu School of Architecture is done through national-level entrance examinations. The candidates must sit for either the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). They are held to test the aptitude and talent of the candidates to pursue the course of architecture as a profession.

Application Process

Application to Kongu School of Architecture for admission is according to a list of procedures to be followed:

1. Admission Test: Candidates must appear for either NATA or JEE Main (Paper 2 - Architecture). For JEE Main, the process of application normally begins some months prior to the date of the exam. Candidates must go to the official JEE Main website to apply for the application form, pay the charges, and upload documents as needed.

2. NATA Registration: If NATA is opted, the application process is to register on NATA's official portal, fill up the application form, upload the documents, and pay the application fee.

3. Exam Preparation: A student needs to prepare well for the opted entrance examination with a focus on subjects such as Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing in the case of NATA, or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Architecture Aptitude in the case of JEE Main.

4. Entrance Exam: Appear for the chosen entrance exam on the specified date. In the case of JEE Main 2025, the exam will be held from 27th Jan to 29th Jan, 2025 .

5. Result Declaration: Wait for the result declarations of the entrance exams. Check for result declarations on the respective exam websites.

6. KSA Application: The moment the entrance exam results are announced, the qualifying students have to apply directly to Kongu School of Architecture. This might be done by way of completing an application form on the KSA website or through centralized admissions.

7. Document Submission: Prepare yourself and submit all the documents required, which will primarily be:

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
• Entrance examination (NATA or JEE Main) score card
• Proof of date of birth
• Category certificate (if required)
• Any other document as may be prescribed by the institute

8. Merit List: KSA shall prepare merit list based on the entrance examination score and other factors as per their admission policy.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Arch: The five-year undergraduate B.Arch course offered by Kongu School of Architecture. Admission to the programme is done through the candidate's score either in NATA or JEE Main. The admission process clearly states that the candidate should be eligible for NATA. But JEE Main scores are also given consideration for admission to the B.Arch course.

The KSA B.Arch program has an approved annual intake of 40 students. The course is currently the institution's sole offering, reflecting their serious interest in architectural education. The course is designed to impart students with a proper grasp of architectural principles, design procedures, and skills required in practice.
