Admissions of students to Kruttika Institute of Technical Education are made through the counseling process by the Government of Odisha on the basis of merit though:

• Odisha Joint Entrance Examination( OJEE) conducted every year and Joint Entrance Examination( JEE Main) managed by National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted twice in a year.
• 2nd Year B.Tech( Lateral Entry) students can get admission based on the merit list of Orissa Joint Exntrance Examination( OJEE) conducted and published once in a year.
• Students can get admission into KITE as aregular student (1st Year) as per the AICTE approval intake capacity of the year and as lateral entry student (direct into 2nd year) through the AICTE norm.
