KU College of Engineering and Technology, Warangal Admission Process

KU College of Engineering and Technology (KUCET), Warangal, is a constituent college of Kakatiya University and provides various engineering and technology courses. KU College of Engineering and Technology admission is intended to identify meritorious and worthy candidates for different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college has a systematic admission process based mainly on state-level entrance tests for various courses.

For undergraduate engineering courses, KU College of Engineering and Technology accepts most students on the basis of their TS EAMCET performance. The TS EAMCET is an important part of the admission process for B.Tech courses. The application process for TS EAMCET usually starts in late February, and the exam is held in May.

Eligibility requirements are different for each programme. Candidates should have passed 10+2 with core subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the case of B.Tech courses. For postgraduate admission, candidates must possess a related bachelor's degree from a valid university.

KU College of Engineering and Technology Application Process

The application process at KU College of Engineering and Technology, Warangal, differs based on the programme:

For B.Tech programmes:

  • Register and apply for TS EAMCET via the official website.
  • The application process for TS EAMCET 2025 is to be held between February 24, 2025, and April 3, 2025.
  • Attend the TS EAMCET test on the fixed date.
  • After declaring the results, eligible candidates may attend the counseling process.
  • Select KUCET and the preferred B.Tech course during counseling.
  • In case of a seat allotment, attend KUCET for document verification and KU College of Engineering and Technology admission procedure.

For MBA and MCA courses:

  • Register online for TSICET on the official website. The registration may start in March.
  • Appear in the TSICET exam as per the allotted schedule.
  • Shortlisted candidates can proceed with the counseling process.
  • Choose KUCET and the desired course (MBA or MCA) during the counseling process.
  • On being allotted a seat, pursue KU College of Engineering and Technology admission formalities at KUCET.

KU College of Engineering and Technology affiliated offers degree-wise admissions for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and MCA programmes.

KU College of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Admission Process

KU College of Engineering and Technology provides various B.Tech courses such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Computer Science & Engineering with Data Science. KU College of Engineering and Technology admissions for these courses are generally on the basis of TS EAMCET ranks. Applicants who are eligible in the TS EAMCET can apply for these courses.

KU College of Engineering and Technology MBA Admission Process

KU College of Engineering and Technology admission process for MBA is different. The candidate must have passed the TSICET exam to be considered for admission. The candidate is chosen based on his/her performance in TSICET, followed by the counseling process.

KU College of Engineering and Technology MCA Admission Process

KU College of Engineering and Technology admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme is also made through the TSICET exam. Eligible students can pursue the MCA course at KUCET by going through the centralised counseling process.

As a civil engineering student suggests to get your knowledge from text books and also by faculty. Good quality of teaching as it is university it is different from other colleges studies. Overall it is a very good college for education.

The fees for B.Tech courses at Kakatiya University College of Engineering (KUCE) is approximately Rs 27770 per annum. Total fees for four years will be around Rs 1,10,800, not including hostel fees and is subject to change. If you are from the unreserved general category then you will not be getting any government college for CSE Branch whether NIT or IIIT or GFTI. I suggest you should either prepare again for the JEE 2021, or take admission in some private colleges.
