Maharaja Institute of Technology admissions offers numerous programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of Engineering and Management. Courses in which MIT Mysore admissions are offered include B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA. MIT Mysore B.Tech programme offers specialisation in branches like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Communication Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and many others.
- MIT Mysore admissions are offered for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA.
- The entrance examinations required for admission to MIT Maysore are COMEDK UGET/KCET/ GATE/Karnataka PGCET.
- Maharaja Institute of Technology seat intake: for B.Tech is 60-180; for M.Tech is 9-18; for MBA is 120; and for MCA is 120.

MIT Mysore admissions to B.Tech programmes are based on the COMEDK UGET/KCET examination. Whereas, MIT Mysore admission to M.Tech programmes is based on the GATE/Karnataka PGCET examination.

MIT Mysore B.Tech Admissions 2026
At the undergraduate level, MIT Mysore admissions are offered to one B.Tech programme with 12 various specialisations. The B.Tech programme is a full-time programme offered for a duration of 4 years.

At the postgraduate level, MIT Mysore admissions are offered to M.Tech, MBA and MCA programmes. All the PG programmes at MIT Mysore are full-time programmes offered for a duration of 2 years.

MIT Mysore PG Admission Process
- Candidates must be eligible for admission.
- For admission to M.Tech programmes, candidates can appear for either the GATE or the PGCET examination.
- For M.Tech admissions, out of the total available seats, 80% are occupied through the Karnataka Examination Authority and 20% through Management.
- For MBA and MCA admissions, candidates must appear for the CMAT/PGCET/KMAT examination.
- For MBA and MCA admissions, from the total seats available, 50% is occupied through PGCET by KEA and 50% through Management.
- Selected candidates will be called for the counselling process.
- Final seat allocation will be done after payment of fees and document verification.
Documents Required for MIT Mysore Admissions 2026
- An application form duly filled out.
- Identification and address proof (Aadhaar card / PAN card / Voter's ID / Valid Passport).
- Original 10th standard passed mark sheet.
- Original higher secondary passed mark sheet (10+2).
- Transfer Certificate from previous school, if applicable.
- Candidates applying under the reservation category will be required to submit a community certificate.
Note: Candidates must submit the original certificates of the above-mentioned documents for final verification before admission.

currently I am pursuing MBA in Finance and human resource from This college. in this college come from different places and all the professors teach very well. along with studies external activities are also included in their curriculum.

college infrastructure is very attractive, and our college have library, labs, canteen, sports, stationery shops, Wi-Fi facility etc. and our college also provided hostels facilities. hostels are also good.
Campus Life
My campus life is good in this college because along with the course they conduct co-curricular activities like sports, singing, dancing etc. and also the teachers are very supportive to each and every student.
Placements
Everything good in this college and the placement is also good. many of my seniors were placed in good companies. placement departments of our college encouraging every student and student can expect an average salary of 3 to 4.5 LPA.
Value For Money
The money on which we are spending is worth.

Really good and big. Each department with each and every facility available. The environment around is really good and the canteen area as well other facility like buses and all are really very nice. I liked the college.
Placements
If worked hard will get the best placements too. Even though getting placed in companies like Wipro and TCS is very challenging but this will get a mindset for student to work hard. Will get really good placement with 90%

Academics is the best part in this clg.Lecturers are so humble and polite and they give u all kinds of support u need but they don't take us outside like education trips but it's the best place to study.
College Infra
Infrastructure is not that good.Labs aren't that good structured and no WiFi or internet is provided and mobiles are not allowed to this college and sports is encouraged In this clg and there's a canteen with quite variety of food available.
Campus Life
This is worst part because the campus is situated in such a region where you can't get any modes of transport to get back home but the clg provides transportation facilities to get you back home safely.
Placements
Placements are good here last year this clg had around 435 placements and that to in a very good company and from past several years they have improved their standards from past few years.Placements are guaranteed if u have good grades and great knowledge on the course u studied.
Value For Money
Value for money is 50:50 I paid around for 1.5 lakhs per year and I'm right now in my 2nd year of engineering so I'm hoping that my money doesn't go waste and hoping to get a good job and value for money is decided on what basis u get it marks and credits

Hello student as per the official website the placement in MIT Mysore is good the average CTC offered is 3 LPA (lakh per annum). There's no update available about recent placements so I'm unable to provide you the current data.
