    Manipal School of Information Sciences (MSIS), Manipal, the premier constituent college of Manipal University, is mainly an institution for IT education. The primary mode of Manipal School of Information Sciences admission is through the Manipal Entrance Test for M.Tech (MET M.Tech). This examination is very crucial in determining the eligibility of a student for a programme of his choice. This is an examination to assess the aptitude and knowledge of candidates in the relevant fields to be studied.

    • Fee Payment: After allocation of a seat, the candidates would have to pay requisite fees for securing their admission. The total fees for ME programmes at MSIS are Rs. 472,000.
    • Final Admission: By following through with these processes, successful candidates will receive their final admission letter with respect to their preferred ME stream in MSIS.

    MSIS Master of Engineering Admission Process

    • ME VLSI Design: This programme is concerning Very Large Scale Integration design and admission based on performance in MET M.Tech. A merit list is created from students, MET scores for the purpose of selection.
    • ME Microelectronics and VLSI Technology: This combines microelectronics with VLSI technology. The MSIS admission procedure is similar to most other ME programmes, based on the MET M.Tech score.
    • ME Embedded Systems: This course caters to the ever-increasing demand for embedded systems professionals. The same petrochemical machines admission system, which is the MET M.Tech score for selection of the ME programme, is followed.
    • ME Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: This programme focuses on cutting-edge areas of AI and ML, and candidates get selected based on their MET M.Tech results.
    • ME Cloud Computing: This programme specialises in preparing professionals in the area of cloud computing. The MSIS admission is dependent on the candidate ranking on the MET M.Tech merit list.
    • ME Cyber Security: This addresses the urgent need for cybersecurity professionals and conducts admission based on MET M.Tech scores.
    • ME Big Data Analytics: This programme answers the increasing need of professionals in the area of big data. The procedure of MSIS admission is on the basis of the MET M.Tech score for merit-based selection.
