Faculty of political science department teachers in modern methods and they are highly approachable for any personal and academic advises . The test and exams are not very tough. we are given the class test assignments with mid sem tests and semester exams.
There is an internship cell in the college which brings placements or high companies for the students recruiting purpose. the previous year records 54.2% placements of political science departments in mscw. there are top recruiting companies which recruits the students from our college. the top companies are Maruti Suzuki and so on.
The cost for the political science department is 25000 yearly and the money is quite worth it.
The campus life of Mata sundari college for women is quite good there are people or students from different backgrounds and States and teachers are both very pleasant.
I hope you enjoy the college too.
The college infrastructure is decent and functional. Classrooms are well-lit, equipped with projectors, and generally comfortable. The library has a good collection of books for political science, though seating can get crowded during exams.
The academics are solid and structured. The Political Science curriculum is relevant, theory-heavy, and updated regularly. Faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable, though teaching quality can vary. Exams follow the standard DU pattern which means its manageable if you stay consistent.
Placements at the college are moderate. Around half the students get placed, mostly in entry-level roles in consulting, HR, sales, and service sectors. So overall it is decent but it heavily depends in what course you're studying.
The college offers good value for money. The fees are affordable for a DU institution, and the academic quality, safety, and faculty support make it worth it. While infrastructure isn’t top-tier and placements are average, the overall learning environment justifies the cost.
Campus life is calm and friendly. The crowd is supportive, societies are active, and events are simple but engaging. The campus is small, but the environment feels safe and community-oriented, which makes it easy to settle in and find your space.
The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and comfortable seating, making learning interactive and engaging. The library is one of the best features, offering a wide range of books, journals, and digital resources that support both academic and research activities. The laboratories are well-equipped with the latest instruments and technology, ensuring students gain practical knowledge along with theoretical understanding.
The academic standard of our college is excellent and focuses on both conceptual understanding and practical application. The curriculum is well-structured and regularly updated to match the latest industry trends and academic developments. Each subject is taught with clarity, and students are encouraged to think critically rather than just memorize.
The placement opportunities offered by our college are quite promising and reflect the institution’s strong industry connections. The Placement Cell works actively throughout the year to bring reputed companies to the campus for recruitment drives. Many well-known organizations from various sectors such as IT, finance, management, and engineering visit the campus every year.
Our college offers good value for money considering the quality of education, facilities, and opportunities it provides. The fee structure is reasonable and well-justified by the excellent academic environment, modern infrastructure, and dedicated faculty members.
Campus life at our college is vibrant, inclusive, and full of opportunities for growth and fun. The atmosphere is always energetic, with students from different backgrounds coming together to learn, share, and celebrate. There’s a strong sense of community that makes college life enjoyable and memorable.
Campus life at our college is vibrant, inclusive, and full of experiences that go far beyond academics. The environment is friendly and energetic, where students from diverse cultures and backgrounds come together, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
not that good classes doesn’t have AC power cuts anytime in summers v difficult to manage tables and chairs are minimum and so many are brocken…not at all maintained college it is. Du must look out to other colleges also and maintain them.
That is good i wont say it bad cuz some teachers are good and they do take pain and for children and do help them in studies and do tell them so many ques helpful in exam…teaches very good to help students achieve goal.
i really don’t know about placements…i did not sit in last placement camp and i’ll ikr to judge it when college end placements would come for us final year students. i’ll be able to judge it at that time only.
My course
not good
My college has basic amenities but it lacks the space required to seat the number of children that are there in a class. The quality of the furniture though is a concern though as many tend to get hurt due to the wood follicles and nails that stick out of the tables and chairs. Wifi is a little slow in a few classrooms but it is fine. The college is clean and well maintained and the food available in canteen is also good.
The course framework and the teaching faculty is nice but sometimes there are delays in completion of the syllabus and then at the end we have to be the ones that have to complete the topic without any assistance.
Since I am in second year only I can't comment on placements but our college has a good placement cell that tells us about internship opportunities and hosts workshops on how we can develop our CV and how we can go forward with it.
I do feel I am getting my money's worth. It's a nice environment where everyone is friendly. I get to know a lot of things that help me develop my portfolio and get access to opportunities.
The college campus is a bit small but has places where you can sit and chat with your friends and hang out between the breaks that we have.
Mata Sundri College for Women offers a supportive environment with clean classrooms, a well-stocked library, and friendly faculty. The central location is a big advantage. The campus is small and lacks hostel facilities, but overall, it's a great place for academic and personal growth with good extracurricular options
I am pursuing History (Hons) at Delhi University. The academic environment is enriching, with dedicated professors who explain concepts deeply and encourage discussions. The syllabus is well-structured and helps build strong analytical and research skills. However, more practical exposure and updated modules would make the curriculum even more career-oriented.
The placement opportunities at the college are decent, especially for commerce and economics students. Several reputed companies visit the campus each year offering internships and full-time roles. While placements for humanities courses are relatively limited, the placement cell is supportive and regularly conducts workshops, resume sessions, and career guidance programs.
The college offers great value for money as the fee structure is quite affordable compared to the quality of education and exposure provided. The infrastructure, library, and faculty support make it worth the cost. Considering the learning environment and cultural opportunities, the overall experience justifies every penny spent on the course.
Campus life is vibrant and inclusive, with a healthy mix of academics and extracurriculars. Various societies, fests, and cultural events keep students engaged throughout the year. The environment is friendly and safe, and both teachers and staff are approachable. The college location is well-connected, adding to the overall positive experience.
Mata sundri college do have mostly all the necessary requirements for the students. It do have all the departments regarding various fields along with it various vocational courses are also offered. Sometimes electricity do cut off wich leads to insane humid in the classrooms. Wifi doesn't work on upper floors
I am pursuing bcom hons from MSCW because I consider this course as one of the most valuable course of du.the teaching staff here is well qualified. I don't think so that I'll get any job after this course because there is nothing about fieldwork
I consider the placenta as below average because the average offered here is about 3-4 lpa which is pretty lower regarding today's expenses . A very few students got placed from the campus itself that too at very low packages
I paid about 30000 for this course which is pretty higher in comparison to other du colleges
The college is located in really good area.
Not so bad as an off campus college so student's should consider it for getting admissions
Overall the infrastructure is good. The cafeteria, classes are fine. But improvement could be made with the washrooms and majorly the lift, whether it's in the main premises or the audi area. Recently the lift even fell down.. and 3 students were injured. We could also work on the tables and chair.. a lot of splinters are there which might hurt the students.
The teachers are supportive. They'll help you understand the topics better.. clear any doubts that you have. Even if it's something last moment. Motivate you to do better. But some teachers aren't coperate at all.
The placements are not upto the mark. As far as I have heard the process is very slow. And they also have something like if you apply for the placement offered by the college, then you can't decline the offer later, or you won't be able to apply anywhere else
College facilities aree okay , we have less working fans but good library , wifi , Psychology lab , can improve classroom except labs , cafeteria is good but needs some fans and ventilation, but not so bad
Studying psychology hons , bcz i am passionate about psychology and understanding how people think and faculty is very nice and considered as in top 5 clgs in psychology department , great psych fest
In 2023 placement drive out of 496 students who applied , 71 were placed The highest packages offered were ₹6.6LPA, while the average package stood around ₹4LPA Placemental cell “ prayas ” is very active
Paid 28000 per year , worth the money bcz Psychology department is good , faculty is nice , works well in mental health awareness week , have gurudwara sahib in college making students sprititual, overall worth it
Campus life can be more interesting , but it okay …. Its has very open space for play , dance socities practice and many more things . Can be improved in fun side for fests and , diwali melas and dandiya nights
My college is well-equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities that support both academic and extracurricular growth. It has spacious and well-ventilated classrooms, smart boards, a well-stocked library, computer and language labs, and Wi-Fi access throughout the campus. The college also provides well-maintained sports grounds, seminar halls, an auditorium, and clean canteen facilities. Additionally, there are medical and counselling services available for students, ensuring a supportive and holistic learning environment.
I am a second year bcom hons student at Mata Sundri College, University of Delhi. According to me the quality of teaching in our college is good as compared to other Delhi University colleges. The faculty is is effecient and cooperative. Delhi Universities curriculum is now updated according to the NEP(New Education Policy).
Our College often organises various sessions and placement drives where students get the experience and exposure of connecting with NGO's and many big names in the corporate world. According to me the salary package is still not very high as we still do not have as many companies coming for recruitment in our college as compared to other colleges.
Bcom Hons leads among the list of the best courses of Delhi University and hence the fee structure ranges between 10000 to 30000 which is relative to different colleges.
Yes it is good
No
