Eligibility Criteria
i. Candidates must have valid WBJEE / JEE (Main) Score.
ii. Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Technical Vocational subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical, wherever applicable) in all three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.
iii. Candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC, ST, OBC, PwD) in all the three subjects taken together.
iv. Candidates must have passed English in “10+2” examination with at least 30% marks.
v. The board of qualifying examination must be recognized either by the Central or State Government.
vi. Both B.Sc. Candidates and Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology will also be eligible for admission to the 1st year Engineering Degree Courses, subject to vacancies in the 1st year classes in case the vacancies as lateral entry at second year are exhausted. However, the admission shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as mentioned above.

College Infrastructure
The college looks neat. Labs are updated and useful. The library is big and also has a digital section. Hostel rooms are shared and clean. Classrooms have fans and smart boards. Two canteens are available with decent food.

College Infrastructure
The Wi-Fi connection is so poor on the college campus, but in the library there is a high-speed unlimited Wi-Fi connection. IT at MCKVIE College is a very good course, and no doubt the lab in every subject is outstanding. But as far as I know, the condition of the hostel is so poor, according to some friends.

College Infrastructure
The hostel is the best in our college. There are ACs available in hostel rooms for both boys and girls. All types of food, including veg and non-veg, are available here. This hostel is newly built, so it's very clean and fresh. In the boys' hostel, there are no restrictions, but in the girls' hostel, there are some restrictions for the safety of the girls.
