MCKVIE placement cell organises activities that help to increase students' employability like soft skill development, leadership abilities, and industry-oriented competencies, in addition to imparting relevant subject knowledge. Each year, several companies visit the campus for MCKV Institute of Engineering placements, including Infosys, HCL, Ericsson, Genpact, and many others. According to the MCKVIE, Howrah placement report 2023 (NIRF Data), out of 371 eligible students for MCKVIE UG placements, 330 students (UG 4 years) were placed with a median salary of Rs. 4,00,000 per annum, while 6 students opted for higher studies.

The college gives good placement help. Many students are placed in top companies like Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture. The highest salary goes up to 25 LPA, and the average is around 4 LPA. Internship chances are also given. Placement training starts in the third year and includes coding, soft skills, and interviews.

Many students from our batch got placed. Top recruiters are TCS, Amazon, and Tech Mahindra. Highest offer was 23 LPA and average is 4.3 LPA. The college helps with placement classes, coding sessions, and mock interviews. They also invite companies for internships.
