The college infrastructure is decent overall. Classrooms are spacious and ventilated. Labs are well-maintained and prepared for practical classes. The library is quiet and contains a vast collection of management study useful books. The hostel facilities, however, are subpar.
The curriculum of the course is industry-specific and aids in developing practical skills. The teachers prepare us for interviews and presentations. Semester exams are a bit tougher in nature since the pattern of papers keeps changing
Around 70% of the students in my batch were placed at companies such as Mahindra, Asian Paints, HP, and so on. The maximum package offered was approximately 24 LPA, and the minimum was 2 LPA. Around 60% of the students were also provided with internships by the college.
The infrastructure of MIET is superior. Classrooms are clean and well-kept, and labs are modernized, particularly for computer courses. The campus has nice sports facilities such as badminton, volleyball, basketball, football, and a reasonable cricket ground. Wi-Fi connectivity is present, but the speed varies in certain places. The hostel is comfortable, but the mess food is average, nothing extraordinary.
The majority of the faculty is good and qualified, with many of them holding postgraduate or PhD qualifications. Teaching styles are conventional, with the use of green boards and projectors, but the clarity of concepts varies according to the instructor. The curriculum of the courses adheres to university standards, and although all the necessary subjects are taught, it is not industry-oriented to a great extent.
placements at MIET Meerut for MCA students are average.There were only 60% students from our batch who got placements through campus recruitments. the average package varies between 3–4 LPA In the past, companies like Innover, Impetus, and Appinventiv have visited, but nearly all the offers were for testing or support profile, not development core. Mass recruiters are not many, and best companies such as Google or Microsoft don't come for MCA placements.
The hostel infrastructure is fine, but the mess food is of very poor quality though it is within the standards of hygiene. If you plan to reside in the hostel, expect a simple living experience. The medical and sports facilities are present and well-maintained, so there is a balance in terms of non-academic support systems within the campus.
MCA department faculty is highly qualified and experienced. They are helpful and polite in terms of academics. The course curriculum is outdated, and it has no correlation with the present industry trends. Limited exposure to practical industry or practical training is incorporated in the academic system.
Placements for MIET Meerut for the MCA course are not too encouraging, particularly when compared to branches such as Textile Engineering, which is the strength of the college. For MCA students, the placement percentage is quite low, and the positions offered are mostly in small-scale IT companies or support staff. If you are particularly seeking good placement opportunities in IT, you might have to do extra work through off-campus drives or individual skill development.
MIET has a well-established infrastructure, particularly for management courses. The MBA block is well-furnished with smart classrooms, projectors, and a digital library with access to journals and international business case studies. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and there are separate labs for business analytics and finance simulations, which are very helpful for MBA-IB students.
Faculty in the MBA-IB department are extremely knowledgeable and accessible. The course is designed to keep pace with the modern global market standards and involves frequent case study discussions, guest speakers, and workshops.
The Training and Placement Cell is functional and responsible, always conducting placement drives and grooming sessions on a regular basis. I myself got placed in HCL Tech and am now working as a Cloud Engineer. Most of our batch students also got good offers in logistics, international marketing, and consulting fields. The average deal provided to MBA-IB students is approximately 4–5 LPA, and the top deal this year exceeded 8 LPA, especially for international business profiles.
The infrastructure at MIET is nice. The management block has digital classrooms and air-conditioning works regularly across all the rooms. The seminar halls are better equipped and used for guest lectures and workshops.
There's a mixed teaching style, a few are interactive and use case studies, while others rely heavily on slides and notes. The teachers are qualified and ready to help and they bring real industry insights.
The placement support at MIET for MBA students is functional but has room for improvement. While some students do manage to secure job offers through college assistance, it's often through pooled drives or external efforts. However, the placement cell provides proper guidance.
The building is well-maintained with modern lecture halls, projectors and wi-fi connectivity. The library is resourceful, with a wide range of management books, business journals, and digital study materials. The computer labs are functional and equipped for research work and analytics practice.
The teaching staff are experienced and passionate. They bring real-world examples into the classroom and ensure practical exposure along with theory. Many professors have prior corporate experience and they focus on improving our analytics thinking, presentation skills and teamwork.
The MBA department at MIET has been steadily growing in terms of placement support. While it may not be a top-tier corporate magnet yet, it offers good career opportunities for students who are driven and proactive. The college encourages off-campus opportunities too, which adds flexibility.
MBA department consists of air-conditioned classrooms, and that is an ideal learning space. Overall infrastructure is good, but the campus is not large.A central AC libraries with business and management books are present. Presentation halls and computer labs are also well furnished for academic purposes.
Professors train us in the right manner in presentations, case studies, mock interviews, and group discussions.The college is affiliated with AKTU Lucknow so the curriculum is also based as per the university guidelines.
In the last placement season, nearly 80–85% of the students were placed. A few companies from management and finance fields come to the campus. The best package offered was ₹12 LPA, and the average was about ₹4–5 LPA. ICICI Bank, HDFC Life, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank were a few of the notable recruiters of our MBA batch.
The annual fest is best with excellent lighting and decoration. Bollywood stars are also invited on the annual fest. Extracurricular activities are also given a focus on the campus. Robo wars and robot race are very famous in a campus competition.

The digital library is a real aaset, stocked with management journals, business case studies and global publications.
Professors here are not just academically sound but also industry-aware. They blend theoritical knowledge with real-world case studies. Most of them have corporate experience or are involved in research, which brings fresh prescriptive to classroom discussions.
The placement support here isn't just handling out job offers, it's about shaping professional identity. The Training and placement cell actively connects students with industry opportunities. While not every students walks out with their dream package, many land meaningful roles in sectors like finance and HR through on-campus drives.
The major issue in the department is that some lab and training facilities are outdated. The college does provide equipment, but many of them don’t function properly, especially when it comes to practical exposure in management tools or simulation labs. Students can often complete tasks only on extra working days like Saturdays, if free. The hostel for first-year students is decent, especially for both boys and girls, but the senior hostel facilities are average and need improvement.
The assessment system includes two sessional exams and one pre-university test, followed by the final university examination.The faculty here is highly qualified and experienced, with most professors having PhDs or backgrounds from reputed institutions like IITs. They are very supportive and always open to helping students with ideas, projects, assignments, and understanding the syllabus.
In my MBA department last year, about 97% of students were placed. This year, out of 120 students, around 43 have been placed so far. The highest package offered is ₹12 LPA, the median is around ₹5 LPA, and the lowest package is about ₹2 LPA. Companies like Ike Education, Jaro Education, IRB Infrastructure, Deloitte, and Cognizant visited the campus for recruitment.
