Life on the campus is so good in the MIET college. The MIET engaged in very curriculum activities. They did a fest which is called kohl in the kholal Aastha gil came. The fest is continued for 3 days. The last day is the dj night of the day in which many students were engaged in the fest they enjoyed a lot of curriculum activities. The library of the college is so decent and with good internet connection of the library placed. They all provide all the related books of the course and other additional books Many sports and extra activities are also done. Sports meets and events are also held weekly in the college. Last week a sports event organised by the college academics was so good.
The course curriculum is so peaceful in the college. All the faculty members are highly educated and very skilled people. They cooperate with the students. They all behave like close faculty members in the college. I chose the course MBA in the college MIET Because the infrastructure and the placement are is very best in the college.
Students are eligible for doing an internship in the second Sem of the first year. Some of them are eligible and got placed when they are in the third sem. In MIET college campus placement is provided to most of the students surely MIET is the very best college for all points of view of perspective placement sims Many companies visited the college and they made a lot of offers to the campus placements of the students. Companies like airtel, TCS, and wipro are visiting the college. They hired the s
The Institute is functional, though not ultra-modern. The computer labs are equipped with the necessary software and systems, but some hardware does need updating. There's no luxurious setup, the basics for learning are definitely covered.
The Teachers is one of the stronger aspects of the MCA program here. They encourage students to participate in coding contests, online certifications and tech seminars to bulid a stronger portfolio. Faculty are well-qualified and creative.
The Institute is still working on building a dedicated placement cell for MCA students, some opportunities do come through personal networks or college references. The college also conducts sessions on resume building and interview prep, which is helpful for off-campus placement drives.
The campus is also very neat and in functioning order. Free Wi-Fi is available . Classrooms and the library are air-conditioned and project-enabled. Washrooms, cafeterias, and university corridors are clean. Security is highly closed up, and no unauthorized person can access the campus
Seniors and mentors mention semester exams are tough, and one has to study well in advance. The teachers are well-educated and experienced, with the majority of them having exposure in the finance and management domains.
Major recruitment agencies at MIET Meerut are ICICI Bank, Flipkart, Ola, and few local FMCG companies such as Gopaljee Dairy and Dabur. The average package provided to the MBA students is 3.5 to 4.5 LPA, while the best package was about ₹7.5 LPA
Campus life is okay, there are students which are competetive and also friendly in nature, and also have good standard of living and they are well mannered. They come from urban cities with proper fcilities also are very kind and helpful
It is around 50 to 1. There are on average 50 students in a class, and for each section there is one faculty for one subject. Although you can also aaproach to other faculties and personalise doubt solving support is there for students.
from 6th semester onwards, students are allowed for campus placements and from 7th semester company placemnets starts. And form 7th semester multiple tech, non tech, product and service all kinds of copanies for various job roles comes in campus
The College offers a blend of legacy charm and digital evolution. The MBA department are equipped with smart classrooms, digital boards, high speed wi-fi and tech-enabled seminar halls. There are affordable and safe PGs and hostels nearby with easy metro access.
The Faculty are the true strength of MBA. Professors encourage debates, research projects and industry-driven capstone projects. One of the best things is accessible faculty members, you can walk into their office anytime for guidance.
The placement ecosystem at MIET College for MBA students is robust and industry-connected. Pre-placement offers through summer internships are also common. The placement cell is highly proactive, hosting mock interviews, resume workshops and networking sessions with alumini and industry experts.
The Campus at MIET is green, spacious and thoughtfully maintained. For B.Sc students, the labs are well-equipped with updated instruments and safety measures Each department has dedicated lab spaces and Smart classroom with projectors make lectures more interactive.
The Faculty in the B.Sc department is passionate and well-qualified, with many holding PhDs and ongoing research publications. They treat students as learners, not just roll numbers. Doubt sessions, extra tutorials, and lab mentoring are common.
While placement for traditional science degrees like B.Sc are still developing, MIET does offer guidance for further studies, research opportunities, and competitive exam preparation. The College's career cell is active, but for science students, its more about building a base for M.Sc.
The infrastructure of the college is also not much good, the college does not spend much on its infrastructure. The canteen food is good and has a variety of food available, but the quality of the mess food is just average. The medical facilities are available 24/7 at Subharti Hospital. There is no network coming in the college.
Teachers are very supportive and help us in clearing our doubts. Teachers help us get good marks in our semester exams. The teaching quality is good, teachers teach us with projectors in classrooms and also provide us with practical knowledge. The semester exams are difficult.
There are less than 30% of students are placed this year, and no more companies are coming to the college. The highest package so far is just 8 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 2.1 LPA. Only startup companies are coming to the college. There are no mass recruiters have come till now to the college this year.
Many fest kept on going there on every festival there were some dance programs as well Library was not that good it was small and also latest books were not there Class was good also there were projector in the classes I was used to be in Basketball team, college was supportive for games and all. No there no club
There were 5 sections for my course and with the strength of 60 to 80 students, and there were seperate professor for each sub. My fav teacher was Tanya mam she was very supportive and fun loving also The one used to not like was Madhu mam she was our HOD and very rude to people we use to have mid term and final exams depends upon the subject in each semester. Exam were used to easy.
From 4 sem you'll get eligible for placement TCS, Hike education, tech mhindra Above 50% you have to score for getting eligible Currently I'm doing job and doing online MBA from Amity University Online
Infrastructure at MIET is good. Every department, including MCA, has computer labs with separate machines and needed software. There is Wi-Fi connectivity in all the academic blocks, and the majority of the class rooms are smart-class enabled, but ACs are present only in some of the rooms.
The process of teaching is quite systematic, and they compel students to do mini-projects, coding events, and certifications. If you go regularly, the semester exams are not that tough, and if you are prepared well, you can get good marks.the syllabus is based on the AKTU pattern as college os affiliated with the university.
MIET is okay for MCA placements if you are technically and communicationally good. The best offer given in our course recently was of approximately ₹7 LPA, and the worst is about ₹3.5 LPA. On average, students get placed in the range of ₹4 LPA. Tech Mahindra, Zensar Technologies, Hexaware, and Sopra Steria have come for MCA placements.
Campus facilities are good enough for academic purposes. Classrooms are large but some are not completely air-conditioned, and there is Wi-Fi connectivity, though it can be shaky sometimes. The library has sufficient management and commerce books, and it remains open for extended hours. Hostels are provided but have limited facilities. The college canteen is satisfactory
MIET faculty are mostly co-operative and have a good grasp of the marketing and finance topics. Most possess hands-on industry experience, which aids in the correlation of theory to practice. Some lecturers, though, overdepend on conventional instructional methods, and a few are less accessible outside class.
Placements for the MBA (Marketing and Finance) program at MIET are moderate. Approximately 60% of students get placed every year. The top package is generally 12 LPA, but the average package is between 3 to 4.5 LPA. Campus recruiters typically consist of mid-sized companies and local marketers in marketing and finance fields. Students also find some internships from their own network or off-campus recruitments.
When choosing between MIET (Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology), Meerut, and KIT (Kanpur Institute of Technology), Kanpur, for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), several factors should be considered to determine which college might be the better fit for you.
Both colleges have their strengths, but if you're looking for a more established name with a solid track record in placements, MIET, Meerut, might be a better choice. However, KIT, Kanpur, is also a strong contender, especially if you're looking for an institution that is growing rapidly and placing an increasing emphasis on industry connections and practical learning.
Your decision might also depend on other factors like location preference, campus environment, and personal priorities. Visiting both campuses and speaking with current students or alumni could further help in making an informed choice.
hope this helps you!!

Hello,
A private university with more tuition and funding would undoubtedly have greater amenities, as would SRM Chennai.
The state government's engineering university, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), offers government seats that are filled through centralised counselling. MIET is located in Meerut.
As for SRM, well, it is SRM, a private institution, a renowned one at that recognised for standards, and given the tuition they demand, buying a student a placement won't be a tough job. MIET has also had great placements throughout the years. Private universities obtain student placements in this manner.
Here are some details. Your choice is yours to make.
Good Luck!!
