The campus layout at MIET feels well-planned and student-oriented. The computing labs are dependable and allow learners to experiment, code, and refine their technical skills. Lecture halls offer a comfortable setting that supports focused learning.
Professors focus on building a strong base in programming and software-related subjects. Practical work, lab exercises, and project guidance help students connect classroom learning with real-world applications. Faculty members are supportive and encourage students to improve their skills continuously.
The placement team works on improving students’ technical knowledge and soft skills through training sessions. Students get chances to sit in interviews with software and IT-related companies. Placement results depend on individual performance, but the college provides the right direction and support.
Lecture halls are airy, orderly, and fitted with smart teaching facilities. The knowledge center is resource-rich, providing access to technical textbooks, research material, and digital databases for in-depth study.
Educators are highly proficient, supportive, and dedicated to mentoring students with precision and clarity. Routine academic activities such as coursework, laboratory practices, case analyses, presentations, and evaluations strengthen logical reasoning and technical expertise.
The career development unit plays a proactive role in shaping students’ professional readiness. Regular coaching in technical domains, logical reasoning, and interpersonal communication is provided. Internship assistance and career counseling sessions help students build confidence and gain real-world exposure.
In terms of infrastructure, MIET has a decent setup. Classrooms are spacious and comfortable. The library is large with enough sitting space and good availability of books. Labs for different departments are there, but for management specifically, more practical exposure could be added.
Faculty members have good academic qualifications and many of them hold Ph.D. degrees. They guide students well in presentations, reports. They are approachable and encourage students to polish their communication style, analytical thinking and confidence because these skills matter the most in career.
Placements here are average. Around 70–80% students get placed, but the packages are not very high. The highest package goes around ₹7 LPA, the lowest around ₹2 LPA and the median package stays around ₹4 LPA.
The MCA Department has separate computer labs, high-speed internet access, and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. However, some systems in the lab are shared and may not be the latest configuration. The library has updated reference books and e-resources for programming, AI, and data analytics.
The faculty members in the MCA Department are qualified and approachable, most holding M.Tech or PhD degrees in computer science. They emphasize core subjects such as Data Structures, Database Management, Java, Python, and Web Development. Teaching quality is consistent professors maintain attendance, internal assessments, and project guidance seriously.
MCA students usually receive opportunities from local IT firms, startups, or training-based companies offering annual packages between ₹2.5 LPA – ₹4 LPA. Only a few students manage to secure higher packages through off-campus drives or internships.
The library has limited seating but enough books for reference. The canteen provides food at reasonable rates, and the quality is decent. There is no large sports ground, only a small area for basic games like basketball and badminton. Events are conducted in the multipurpose hall.
If you show interest and ask for help, teachers are cooperative. The exams are manageable with consistent study, and most students are able to clear them without much difficulty.The faculty members are supportive and approachable. Some of them are experienced.
IN 2009.The average package is around 5–6 LPA, and the median package is close to 4.5 LPA. The highest package offered recently was 12 LPA. Many reputed companies like Intel, Tech Mahindra, Dell, visit the campus for recruitment.
MIET spreads over several blocks and has a well-planned college campus. There is Wi-Fi connectivity available in the academic blocks and labs. The curriculum for MCA at this institute is industry-oriented and designed as per the latest trends. The covered subjects provide both theory and practical exposure. The faculty members are well qualified, experienced, and friendly. They not only help but also motivate students to do more coding and guide them thoroughly in their projects. The teaching is supported with more practical examples and real-time case studies.
At MIET Meerut, I am studying MCA and the campus placements for our course look good here. A fair number of companies come to the campus during the placement period and as a result, a good number of students get placed with attractive salary packages. The average package in MCA is around 5-6 LPA and the highest package offered lately was approximately 18-20 LPA. Besides that, some mid and upper mid-level tech companies like Hexaware, Birlasoft, Publicis Sapient, Trident InfoTech, have come to the campus for MCA recruiting.
MIET offers basic but sufficient facilities to the MCA students. The college is well-maintained and the classrooms are good. Wifi, however, could be better, especially in certain blocks. The labs are excellent and fully equipped for software learning. Mess food is quite normal, nothing special but still manageable.
Teachers are also supportive and hold experience in their subject matter. They provide explanation of the topics and are always ready to help with the doubts. Moreover, industry experts are invited for sessions which help in understanding the real requirements of the market. Term exams are not very tough and if you are regular in classes and do practice on your own, getting good marks is not at all difficult.
The highest salary package was close to 30 LPA and the lowest was around 4 LPA. The average is roughly between 7 and 8 LPA for MCA. A few decent IT and software companies based on-campus have come for recruitment comprising firms like 'Nagarro, Birlasoft, Newgen with some fintech/start-up based companies as well. Students who have a good hold on programming and communication skills will definitely get more opportunities.
The hostel and mess are average at best. Medical support is available as the college has tie-ups with the nearby hospitals for emergency situations. There are sports facilities but they are not very developed, however, are sufficient for basic activities and games.
The faculty members are experienced and helpful in the MCA department. Most of them concentrate on the students’ understanding of the concepts and also help with projects and give guidance for placements. Also, sometimes industry guests come for interactive sessions which strengthen the practical knowledge of students.
More than 70 companies from different sectors came to the campus. Some mid-to-big tech and software companies in the market like Nucleus Software, Birlasoft, Coforge, Hexaview, and Sopra Steria came to recruit. Last year, about 80% of the students from the MCA department were able to secure jobs with good profiles.
The MCA department has an excellent infrastructure facility. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors which not only make the interaction more but also learning is more fun and interesting. Labs have updated systems and software required for programming practice.
The faculty teaching MCA at MIET is very helpful and has good domain knowledge. They not only clarify the concepts but also support us in practical and project-based learning. The way they present their lectures is quite comprehensible, and they also try to link the topics with the latest industrial scenarios.
Nearly 70–80% of the students of our batch manage to get a job every year. A lot of IT service and software development companies come to the campus for recruitment. In the last couple of years, the freshers have been hired by a company like Hexaware Solutions, Birlasoft, Nucleus Software, and some mid-level tech firms located in NCR.
Wi-Fi service is available in some blocks of the campus but not everywhere. The classrooms are neat and well-equipped with projectors. There is a canteen within the campus but the food is only average in quality.
Teaching staff has good qualifications and they are also cooperative. Faculty members not only teach the theories well but also guide during the practicals.The examination pattern is of moderate level and a student who follows regular study can easily pass them.
The lowest and even the average salary are approximately ₹14,000-₹18,000 per month. Also, only a few small and medium-sized electronics manufacturing and telecom service companies like TeleNova Solutions, ElectraTech Systems, and DigiSignal Pvt. Ltd.
