My experience till now is so good

    College Infrastructure

Our college has excellent infrastructure with many buildings, spacious garden areas, playgrounds, and a gymnasium. The internet, electricity, smart classrooms, and well-equipped laboratories are also available. The flowers and greenery decorate the campus, making it a clean and well-maintained place.

    Academics

The academics at our college consist of a proper structure with semester exams and supportive teachers who provide us with all sorts of resources. They guide us towards the right path and teach us new techniques. I am pursuing an MBA, and on the whole, things have been good.

    Placements

The placement opportunities here are average. Companies conduct placement drives for various profiles. The placement cell actively shares all the details regarding interviews and provides the required support and information to the students.

    Campus Life

The college campus is expansive and enjoyable. We have garden areas, a gym, a cafeteria, yoga classes, and a peaceful natural environment. Hanging out with friends in the cafeteria is one of the best parts of college life here.

    College Infrastructure

The campus is truly impressive, and the teachers offer personal mentoring, which greatly helped me excel in my future studies. Additionally, the infrastructure is currently being renovated to provide more space and better facilities for students."

    Academics

The course is a nice balance of practical and theoretical knowledge. They also propose training in soft skills, enabling students to prepare themselves better for future placements. I liked the lectures mostly held in English and French.

    Placements

The placement cell has really been supportive. They helped me get this internship and were also arranging all those mock interview sessions. They take an individualistic approach, reviewing each student's performance to help them better as a group.

    Campus Life

My campus life was exceptionally awesome,I explored a lot of nearby places.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The facilities at the college are quite good, along with infrastructure available in your department. There is 24x7 Wi-Fi access and really well-equipped labs for practical sessions. The classrooms provide a comfortable study environment, and the library offers a wide range of books related to your course.

    Academics

The faculty at our college is highly experienced, with many professors having 10 to 30 years of teaching experience. The course curriculum is designed to prepare us for the industry, offering relevant management courses that help students gain the skills they need for their careers.

    Placements

Frankly speaking, placements in our course are not that significant, with merely about 40-50% of the students getting placement. The highest packages that have been offered so far are around 3-4 LPA. Mother Dairy and a Seed & Fertilizer Company recruit a good number of students in agriculture. However, around 80-90% students easily get an internship.

    Value for Money

Management courses are expensive in this college.

    Campus is so small

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The mba building infrastructure is quite archaic and resembles an old structure. Air conditioners are absent in all classrooms, and as a whole, there isn't much one would appreciate about the facilities of this building.

    Academics

It is famous for its academic excellence and benchmark for success. MIET emphasizes theoretical knowledge as well as practical application and innovative research, thereby providing a holistic form of education. The richness of the experience is added to by its faculty members, modern infrastructure, and collaborative environment.

    Placements

Placement opportunities at the college are not that good, especially for mba students. Better students seem to be getting jobs: actually going to companies applying for placements themselves rather than waiting for companies to come to the campus. Overall, this college does not seem to be a good place for mba.

Academics are best here in Miet.

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructural facilities are very well equipped and maintained, with a clean and green campus. Ample classrooms and labs are available along with a large library. In the library, many books related to the student's respective courses are given, and computers with internet facilities are also provided for the use of students.

    Academics

The qualified and supportive teaching staff provides a great aspect of this college. The curriculum is relatively easier compared to other branches of engineering and focuses both on theoretical and practical knowledge. As such, the pass percentage for the semester exams comes approximately to 60%.

    Placements

Most students without any backlog or a good grade have been getting placements in multinationals with the industry-level package. A few have even been placed in product development and design firms and marketing agencies.

    College Infrastructure

Very good infrastructure. The hostels for the boys and girls are very good, with all facilities available such as gym, laundry, swimming pool, and quality food. Cleanness and hygiene is maintained in all living spaces.

    Academics

Teachers supportive and helpful in providing quality knowledge. Lectures held regularly, and exams are scheduled. Along with that, scopes of skill and personality development are there, making a student job-ready.

    Placements

The quality of placement is just average. The placement cell here doesn't focus much on getting all the top companies. It mostly caters to startups with mediocre opportunities, so on an average, the amount of salary package offered is around 4-6 LPA.

    Value for Money

This college is affiliated with AKTU,Lucknow hence it charges bit high fees.

    Placement is not so good

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college has lots of labs but the majority of them do not have adequate qualified supporting facilities for work research. Moreover, canteen facilities are really poorly maintained and chairs are not there to sit and you will have to stand and eat at the tables. Such a mess food is prepared that many students do not even want to eat it, and instead prefer drinking water.

    Academics

Some teachers outside of their area of expertise are teaching the subjects, and mere notes from the authorities are being used for their aid. Gaps in the system are being generated, and proper understanding of the subject is not reached by the students. It simply prepares for end-semester exams, hardly worth thinking about placements or practical applications.

    Placements

The college does not attract companies matching the students' training expectations. It is mainly the mass recruiter kind of companies that most of the recruiters are. Actually, it is really very hard for students to secure their desired jobs as the curriculum does not contribute much to placements.

    Value for Money

Bit costly as compared to other colleges.

What I say read what I have type

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is just okay, nothing too impressive for an MBA course. Classrooms are decent but lack modern tech like smart boards. The library has basic books but doesn’t have much on new management topics. There’s no proper lounge or space for group discussions, which is disappointing.

    Academics

Academics are focused more on the first year, and the second year feels a bit neglected. The first year covers the basics well, but by the time you get to electives, it feels rushed. Professors are good for theory, but practical case studies and real-world examples are lacking. Overall, learning is fine if you’re self-motivated.

    Placements

Placements are below average. Most companies coming to campus are sales-based, offering low packages around ₹3-4 LPA. There’s very little focus on core MBA roles like finance, marketing, or HR. The placement cell tries, but the opportunities are not diverse or promising. Off-campus applications become necessary if you want a better job.

    Value for Money

The fees are affordable compared to other MBA programs, but considering the lack of strong placements and limited second-year focus, it doesn’t feel like great value for money. For the price, they could do much better in terms of exposure and industry connections.

    Campus Life

The campus life is decent. There are events and management fests, but they don’t stand out. Networking opportunities are limited, and the student crowd is a mix of serious learners and casual attendees. It’s fine for making friends, but you’ll need to rely on your own efforts to build professional connections.

    Others

The MBA program has potential but falls short in placements and practical exposure. The focus on the first year is good, but the second year doesn’t meet expectations. If placements are a priority for you, this might not be the best choice. However, if you’re on a tight budget and can work independently for career growth, it’s manageable.

☺️ And plz rely on yourself not college

    College Infrastructure

The college has good infrastructure for a budget-friendly option. Computer labs are equipped for most programming tasks, but some systems feel outdated. Classrooms are clean and have projectors, though they’re not always functional. Wi-Fi is provided, but it’s unreliable during peak hours. The library has decent resources, but newer books on emerging technologies like AI and blockchain are needed.

    Academics

Academics here are solid. The professors are approachable and explain concepts in a way that’s easy to understand. The curriculum covers most of the important topics like data structures, machine learning, and web development. Practical exposure is decent, but you’ll need to supplement with your own projects or online certifications for the latest skills.

    Placements

Placements are okay but not exceptional. Most companies are IT services like Wipro, TCS, and Infosys, with packages in the ₹3-5 LPA range. High-paying tech companies don’t visit often. The placement team puts in effort, but students need to focus on off-campus opportunities for better roles, especially if aiming for product-based companies

    Value for Money

For the fees, it’s a good deal. You get decent facilities and a solid education. However, investing in additional courses or certifications is necessary if you want to stand out in the job market. It’s worth it for someone who’s willing to put in extra effort.

    Campus Life

Campus life is vibrant. There are hackathons, coding marathons, and regular cultural events to keep you engaged. The crowd is diverse, and you’ll find a mix of serious learners and fun-loving people. The overall atmosphere is welcoming, and the location has enough spots to hang out and relax.

    Others

It’s a good college for B.Tech in CS if you’re looking for an affordable option with a balanced experience. While placements and some facilities could improve, the academics and campus life make up for it. A little extra effort on your part can make this a rewarding journey.

Good if you are disciplined don't depend on college

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is quite basic for an MBA program. Classrooms are average, and projectors don’t always work properly. The library has some good books, but the collection feels outdated for management studies. There’s no proper cafeteria; food options are limited, and the campus lacks modern amenities like dedicated discussion rooms or lounges. Overall, infrastructure needs serious improvement.

    Academics

Academics are decent. Some professors are knowledgeable and teach well, but a few classes can feel unstructured and boring. The curriculum is okay but doesn’t include much on the latest trends like digital marketing or AI applications. Practical exposure is limited, and case studies are not done often enough. You can learn well if you put in extra effort on your own.

    Placements

Placements are disappointing. Most companies coming here offer roles in sales with very basic packages around ₹3-4 LPA. Core MBA domains like finance or HR see very few opportunities. The placement cell tries, but the lack of industry connections shows. If you want a good job, you’ll have to network and apply off-campus. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it based on placements alone

    Value for Money

The fees are affordable compared to other MBA colleges, but the facilities and placements don’t justify the cost. For the money you’re paying, they need to improve infrastructure and bring in better companies for placements. Right now, it feels like you get what you pay for—not much beyond the basics.

    Campus Life

Campus life is okay but nothing special. There are some events and management fests, but they’re not very well-organized. The crowd is mixed—some students are serious about their future, while others are just passing time. There’s not much interaction with alumni or industry experts. It’s fine if you focus on studies, but don’t expect an exciting campus vibe.

    Others

If you’re considering an MBA here, think carefully. The academics are manageable, but the infrastructure and placements don’t meet expectations. It’s okay if you’re looking for an affordable option, but for serious career growth, you might want to explore other colleges with stronger industry links.

Have a question related to Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut ?

Is MIET college in jammu good for computer sciences course

    Hello

MIET Jammu is considered a good option for Computer Science courses like B.Tech CSE or BCA, especially within the Jammu region. The college is NAAC A-graded and NBA-accredited, with industry-linked labs and certifications in AI, ML, and cloud technologies. It offers decent placement opportunities with a placement rate of around 80 percent and packages ranging from 4 LPA to 12 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant recruit regularly. While academics and infrastructure are strong, student reviews highlight a strict academic environment and mixed campus life, so self-motivation is important for success.

When choosing between MIET (Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology), Meerut, and KIT (Kanpur Institute of Technology), Kanpur, for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), several factors should be considered to determine which college might be the better fit for you.

    MIET, Meerut:

    • Reputation: MIET is one of the more established institutions in the region, known for its consistent academic performance and focus on engineering disciplines.
    • Infrastructure: The college has a well-equipped infrastructure with modern labs, libraries, and other facilities crucial for CSE students.
    • Placement: MIET has a good placement record, particularly for CSE, with companies like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro visiting the campus regularly.
    • Faculty: The faculty is experienced, with many holding advanced degrees and having industry experience.

    KIT, Kanpur:

    • Reputation: KIT has been gaining recognition for its engineering programs and is known for its discipline and academic rigor.
    • Infrastructure: KIT also offers excellent infrastructure, with state-of-the-art labs, a comprehensive library, and good hostel facilities.
    • Placement: KIT has been improving its placement statistics, with companies like HCL, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra recruiting students.
    • Faculty: The faculty at KIT is qualified, with a strong focus on research and innovation in the CSE field.

    Conclusion:

Both colleges have their strengths, but if you're looking for a more established name with a solid track record in placements, MIET, Meerut, might be a better choice. However, KIT, Kanpur, is also a strong contender, especially if you're looking for an institution that is growing rapidly and placing an increasing emphasis on industry connections and practical learning.

Your decision might also depend on other factors like location preference, campus environment, and personal priorities. Visiting both campuses and speaking with current students or alumni could further help in making an informed choice.

    hope this helps you!!
