Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application / Technical Vocational Subject.
Candidates must secure individual pass marks (both in theory and practical/project, wherever applicable) in all three subjects.

Minimum Marks Required:

General Category: At least 45% aggregate marks in the above three subjects.
Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD): At least 40% aggregate marks in the above three subjects.
Must have passed English in 10+2 with at least 30% marks.
The qualifying examination board must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government.

Admission Details

Admission is based on the WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) or JEE Main (National Level Exam) scores.

Counseling Process:

Candidates must apply separately for the entrance exams.
After clearing the exam, candidates must participate in counseling conducted by WBJEEB or JoSAA (for JEE Main candidates).
Seats are allotted based on rank, choice of institution, category, and availability of seats.
Once allotted, candidates must report to the college within the given timeline for final admission.

College Infrastructure

It has all required and necessary amenities. There's a good library an practical labs. There's also an innovation cell in the campus itself. It's have all the basic things one would require in a campus

College Infrastructure

My college has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classrooms are alright and has smart boards. Laboratories and library, both are well maintained and equipped with up to date equipment. Boys and girls have separate common room.

It is really nice to be a part of MSIT ECE.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good.Labs are well equipped.It is really nice to get our class in seminar hall and also in classrooms.Lab facility is good and teachers always help student addressing their inquisitive mind.
