MLV Government Textile and Engineering College, Bhilwara (MLVTEC) is an autonomous institution approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college conducts different engineering programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels mainly oriented towards textile technology and engineering disciplines.
MLV Government Textile and Engineering College admission is largely based on national-level entrance tests. For undergraduate courses, joints Entrance Exam (JEE Main) score is accepted. MLV Government Textile and Engineering College, Bhilwara also participates in the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) process, which allows for admissions into B.Techs by merit and fair selection.
MLV Government Textile and Engineering College admission to the postgraduate programme, that is M.Tech, for candidates with good GATE scores is administered by the MLVTEC; hence the candidates with sound knowledge of engineering will be selected for higher education. Eligibility for undergraduate programmes states that a candidate has passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

MLV Government Textile and Engineering College admission for B.Tech programmes is based on J.E.E. Main scores and participation in the REAP counselling. The total approved intake for all the programmes in the college is 340 seats, of which the highest is 120 for Textile Technology.
The college offers M.Tech in Textile Technology for which admission is based mainly on the GATE score with an approved intake of 18 seats. The candidates with relevant bachelor's degrees in engineering or technology can apply.

I would the curriculum is not totally up to date and honestly it does not includes all the recent developments in the field of technology. The permanent teachers here are pretty good but the guest facilities are just average.
The college is bad in terms of academics. Currently I am pursuing BTech in textile technology. The teachers always keep themselves up to date for the course and technology. The only bad thing is that teachers don't teach proper in the class.
The collegeis very poor in terms of academics. Currently I am pursuing BTech in information technology from the college and in my class sometimes teacher don't come to class and sometimes they come but don't teach anything.
