      Mount Faran Polytechnic, Hubli Admission Process

      Mount Faran Polytechnic, Hubli offers diploma-level courses and there will be no entrance examination for admission to these courses. MFP admission is based on the marks in class 10(SSLC). There will be 50% seats reserved for the category students. MFP admission selection criteria include online non-interactive counselling where seats will be allocated to the students upon meeting the admission criteria. The Directorate of Technical Education Karnataka is the governing body of admission to MFP diploma courses. The notifications regarding admission are released every year by the above-mentioned authority on https://dtek.karnataka.gov.in. The notifications are generally released in the last week of April or the first week of May with a fixed number of seats.

      Mount Faran Polytechnic, Hubli offers diplomas in various branches. The duration of the course is 3 years for regular students and 2 years for lateral entry students.

      • Candidates should have passed class 10 (SSLC) from Karnataka itself.

      • A minimum of 35% marks in the respective education is required.

      • Candidates should have completed 5 years of study in Karnataka between 1st and 10th standard.



      MFP Diploma Admission Procedure

      • An application form along with a brochure will be available at https://dtek.karnataka.gov.in. 

      • Candidates need to fill out the application form and apply for online non-interactive counselling. 

      • Seats will be allocated on the basis of marks obtained in class 10(SSLC).

      • Candidates also need to meet the required eligibility criteria. 

      • Candidates need to provide the required documents at the time of admission for verification.

      • The seat will be finalised only after the payment of course fees. 



      MFP Required Documents

      • Marksheet of Class 10/ITI/10+2

      • No objection certificate from the employer(In case of the part-time diploma)

      • Identification certificate

      • Transfer certificate/Migration certificate

      • Passport size photographs

      • Caste certificate (for category students)


      Note: In case of the failure of document submission, the seat will be cancelled.
