Mumtaz College of Engineering and Technology (MCET), Hyderabad, has various engineering and management courses. Mumtaz College is under the affiliation of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Mumtaz College of Engineering and Technology admission process is geared to choose the deserving candidates for its different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
The major entrance test for Mumtaz College of Engineering and Technology admissions is Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) for engineering courses. For MBA courses, Mumtaz College of Engineering and Technology takes scores in the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET). These entrance tests at state level are held every year, with the exam dates being intimated by the concerned examination boards.
For B.Tech courses, the candidates should have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects. For the MBA course, the candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any subject. Courses have admissions on the basis of TS EAMCET scores. The total intake for B.Tech programmes is 240 with 60 seats in CSE, AI & ML, and IoT, Cyber Security & Block Chain Technology, and 30 seats in both ECE and Civil Engineering.
MBA programme with a 60-seat capacity is provided by the college. Admissions to the MBA programme are carried out through TSICET scores. Those who pass TSICET may also be admitted into the MBA programme offered by MCET.
