Eligibility Criteria

Requirements for joining B.E Program in Chemical Engineering
If you have an analytical mind, passionate about Science in general and Chemicals in particular, if you are filled with curiosity to get deep into the how-and-why of the things you see around you, then, this is the course for you.
Besides this, all Indian students applying for the B.E Chemical Engineering program must fulfil the following requirements:
a) CET Quota Students:
- Must have passed the Second Year of Pre-university or 12^th standard or equivalent, with English as one of the subjects.
- Must have secured an aggregate of at least 45% in Math, Physics and Chemistry. Studying Chemistry as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam is mandatory.
- Must have cleared KCET
b) Management Quota Direct Admission students:
- Must have passed the Second Year of Pre-university or 12^th standard or equivalent, with English as one of the subjects and obtained an aggregate of at least 60% in Math and Physics, with Chemistry as the third subject.
- Must have cleared any of the following entrance examinations: KCET, COMEDK, UGET, AMPCK, JEE
c) Students in the SC/ST and CAT1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B categories:
- Must have secured a minimum aggregate of 40% in the qualifying examination.
- Must have cleared any of the following entrance examinations: KCET, COMEDK, UGET, AMPCK, JEE
d) International/NRI students:
- Must have passed anexam equivalent to Second Year of Pre-university or 12^th standard, with English as one of the subjects and obtained an aggregate of at least 60% in Math and Physics, along with Chemistry as the compulsory third subject.
- Must clear the interview and written test that will be conducted by the College, as mandated by the University.

Admission Details

Admission Procedure:For Indian Students:

1. Undergraduate Engineering Programmes

Admission to Undergraduate Engineering programmes may be obtained through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) examination and selection process, or through the Management Admission process.

Eligibility Criteria: CET Admission Process

Student should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages, and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science. In case of SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1,2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category) students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.
Student should have cleared the entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka – KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test)

Eligibility Criteria: Management Admission Process

Student should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the Languages, and obtained a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.
Student should have cleared any one of the Entrance Tests conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka or Govt. of India (KCET, COMEDK, AMPCK, JEE)
